My AEON Big just got a cashback of RM5.86 in last statement.

My most recent spend was RM1250 BP reload on 1st March, can't be that.

The most recent spend before that was in December last year.

Since then all that's been happening is paying my monthly bill (BT from few months back), and kena finance charge due to Federal Territories day, but it was reversed in exact amount on appeal.

Any clue on what could have triggered that cash rebate?

There is a 10% extra rebate for spending at Aeon Big on 28th on November or December if not mistaken.

Thanks, but more than a year I haven't used this card at Aeon Big (just don't happen to be there on the special days, and otherwise other CC give better reward). It's mostly been a BT card and a bit of online.

With this, I guess the Aeon Big CC cannot be used at the Aeon Big cashiers to earn member points right? Say I'm paying with other CC like the BigPay etc.

Thanks but I meant using this Aeon Big CC as a member card only to collect points, not as the payment card. As normally for the payment, I'm using the Aeon Big Gift Card which I will topup whenever there's a CC promo. Now will be using BP instead for the payment. So I'll pass to the cashier, the Aeon Big CC as my Aeon Big member card to collect the point, then use my gift card to make the payment.

You are missing the point. The point collection still the same, you pass to the cashier first before your payment card (bigpay). The only changes is that previously you earn aeon big points but now will be earning aeon points instead. And I guess no longer can change the points to cash at the cashier counter anymore. Must do it online.

I see, so you mean can still use the Aeon Big CC to collect the member points. Ya it's ok about the conversion as can change it to cashback insead, which is better.

Yes but now need to do it manually ourselves at their website. I prefer can directly cashback at the cashier previously Less hassle.

Anyone got issue paying interbank from Maybank to Citibank to pay Aeon cc bill? Seem to have error ...

Cannot use instant transfer, only GIRO can be used to pay AEON via Citibank.
