no, you are required to apply with aeon big membercard. Hence, unless you spend there, else you can't cash out the reward points.

Aeon Big member point = 0.5% (1,000 points RM5 cash rebate)

with aeon big visa card you get 1 point for every RM2 spending, so its similar to maybank 0.25%.

Not Really, Maybank Petronas Visa is a co-branded card, however, u still can redeem your treatpoints into barry smith luggage bag or Enrich miles or even Air Asia Big points.

Aeon Big Visa card cannot redeem anything at all. cannot redeem giant voucher, cannot redeem Samsung S6 cannot redeem anything.

Anyone can comment on how soon will they process the application? I submitted mine on the 19th at Mid Valley booth but no one call to verify yet. Thinking of make good use of the free PPL access in the upcoming trip.

That's quite long as compared to branch. I also submitted on the 23th at a booth but till now no status update over phone and verification call yet.
