Most likely under Pharmacy.
But the CIMB machines are being phased out at Guardian+Giant+ColdStorage outlets.

Wondering why?
CIMB charges them high?

HLB machines support UnionPay, Amex.
HLB machines can support e-wallets, including Alipay/Wechat (China).
I also found another HLB's machine for Cashout - I assume Giant will offer cash-out from Debit card soon (quite common in UK). Giant did offer a similar service a few years ago.

But the dinosaur CIMB GHL terminal also supports AMEX; not sure about UnionPay.
For e-wallet, just need to add extension scanner like at Tesco.

Where do you guys get to see ur MCC Code? I korek korek everywhere also cannot find on my statement lel... Trying to figure out Agoda's MCC - I know its online dy, but need to figure out the base if they are hotel or travel agent ke

Just realized one way to know the MCC code almost instantly.
If you have the merchanttrade money ewallet (prepaid visa), any transaction is shown instantly due to it being a debit card. The reference number is the MCC code.

In this example, I loaded money into wechat, which has MCC of 6540
I have tried a few such as booking hotels and the MCC code also correspond to MCC belonging to hotels.

Even the cc slip stated "Sogo Dept Store", but it's under "Groceries". I think Sogo is using the standardise name..

Standard Chart CS told me they can't check the MCC code once transaction it is posted. Wt... and really speechless...

speedmart99, should be same. their nature of business is always groceries.

others depends, like Aeon. it has mixture of departmental and groceries. some might have mixture of dining (al fresco) and groceries.
