Using z5 for 2 days edi..and i only play dota2 just want to know my grafic look like stutter when v-sn is of while vsn on my mouse got are delay like 1 sec when i clik..eventhouh my ping just 40ms..anyone facing this prob?

Use fullscreen mode instead of auto in gsme setting
Change in ncp for dota 2 to high performance instead adaptive

Btw what mouse ure using and whats the polling rate at??

Also are you using dota 2 dx11 or opengl or the default quaxi dx9 etc. ??

I prefer dx11 since it will be native 64bit.

i using fullscreen already change it..but not so nice acctualy i also dont know..maybe i bandingkan dgn my monitor with 144hz and 2k reso with gsyn that i play everyday at home..lol

Today i discover that when i play dota2 when all hero using skill..i will get lag..haih..my laptop prob or just 970m not so power..dissapointed alot

Dude dont compare with a 144hz monitor.

This is just a ips monitor but the response time of a laptop ips edp should be better than most 60hz monitors out there.

Dont blame the tool. Adapt.
Adjust ure mouse .. Again what mouse ure using??

Dota 2 is not a gpu intensive game. It uses cpu more. Think theres a issue here on how fast command list are created.

as for monitor resolution.. 1440p vs 1080p in dota doesnt give u any edge. scaling is to resolution is the same.

Btw, does this lagging issue happen in DOTA 2 only, or other games as well?

Im using corsair m65 when i use at my rig its no problem

I want to bring it today..but overslept..haih..still the lagging is happening..i see the fos is often droping till 20+ then up back..haih..dont know what happen

Have you checked if your fan's spinning? And also Nvidia drivers.

In my case, I constantly found my cpu fan stop spinning while playing DotA 2 halfway through. Will inspect more and get conclusion.

On a rog swift on two tx with g502 destop mouse dpi is 5000. Because of the low response rate of 1ms / refresh rate 144 n monitor size of 27.

For laptop i am using g602. Dpi at 1800 is sufficient at 15inch.

Technically u need a higher dpi for laptop compared to a 60hz desktop monitor. But because the lack of motion blur due to overdrive and gsync n high resolution n monitor size.. You can use high dpi on a 144hz 1440p 27inch

Adjust ure dpi.

Second. For good wifi connectivity. Based on ure network.. Choose the prefered band in for ure laptop wifi properties.
Second make sure its at max performance instead of powersaving etc during gaming.

Dual band ac is the best. Better than this is via lan.

When gaming in windows 10.. I set my wifi as metered connection so no updates are done. Every windows updates are done manually.

For me it's sufficient because I use my laptop for gaming and light office work using word and outlook only... I also install 2-3 game only at a time and the others game that I dont play i store it at my external hdisk same goes to my movie, song etc..
