First time I received CNMYN tracking number
Anyone knows what is the local courier?

CNMYN is Ninja Van

Depends on the method you choose
If you choose 直邮 (Direct Mail Air Freight or Ship Freight) then no you don't have to do anything
If you choose 集运 (Consolidation Mail Air Freight or Ship Freight) then yes you may have to liaise with the warehouse

A word of cautionary, some items cannot use direct mail at all

Many of us who've been using Taobao for a while skip the English interface, as it can sometimes be more confusing than the Chinese version. I don’t read Chinese either, but over time, I got the hang of it and now know where to tap and navigate.

Here’s a tip: take screenshots at each step and use the Google Translate app to translate them. After a while, you'll become familiar with the app, and the English interface won’t even be necessary.

Also, the Chinese version offers more features, coupons, and other perks that aren't available in the English version.

It looks like Ninja Van is now included in Taobao's list of local couriers:

CNMYA – KEX Express (formerly ABX)
CNMYB – Best Express
CNYMD – DHL eCommerce (I don't see them using this anymore)
CNYMG – GDex
CNYMN – Ninja Van
TMYLE – Lazada Express

Do you know what led to your account being restricted in the first place?

That's strange. I've never had to provide my passport for verification—just my phone number. My account is probably older than yours, and there wasn't such a requirement back then.
Items that contain batteries or networking equipment are prohibited from being shipped by air. However, some sellers may declare the item as something else, which could allow your parcel to get through.

First time I had this issue. Anyone can advise what to do next?

CNMYN can no longer be tracked in Ninja Van website eventhough it is definitely delivered by Ninja Van

Strange. Perhaps they changed the tracking number once it's arrived in Malaysia

That’s an unusual tracking number—I’ve never seen a CNEM prefix before.
Yep, my suspicion was right—local couriers change the tracking number once they receive the parcel, making it much harder to track.

When your parcel arrives, could you check and let us know if this is true? I accidentally threw away the packaging after opening mine and forgot to confirm this beforehand.

Yeah, I just realized that too — no wonder I couldn’t track it!

But then again, it seems like most local couriers are now changing the tracking numbers once the package reaches here. So all those CNM numbers are basically untraceable now.

They’re actually really good—always deliver by the next working day.
Well, at least that’s been the case for my area (Glenmarie & Subang Jaya).
