Since when Italy becomes such a huggge city?

i just came back from Thailand, Bangkok and Pattaya... a nice and friendly city. love the people there but the air is quite polluted. went there with tour so dun have much time for shopping, like the night market there but only 2 hours there due to what the tour guide order. thinking to go Hong Kong, my sister went there and said it is shopping paradise and a lot of nice nice food. hopefully can go there in May after my graduation.

Updated list, latest place i've visited is Mumbai (India) - I commented in this thread also

- Jakarta, Indonesia - been there around 10 times already. Not as bad as many people thought. A very packed city with fast tempo. Weather is similar to malaysia

- Phuket, Thailand - been there once for company trip. Was so quiet coz it was only half year after Tsunami. But nevertheless a good place.

- Auckland, New Zealand - nice scenery and weather. But very slow tempo

- Sydney, Australia - just there for few hours only. Managed to go to circular quay and witnessed some landmarks like opera house, nice scenery. Consider going there again

- Apia, Samoa - probably a strange name to many people. It's a tiny island in south pacific. Nice beaches but very undeveloped

- Bangkok, Thailand - I like the foods there, cheap and delicious, and people there are very polite. Language is a barrier though. (NEW)

- Mumbai, India - short trip, the impression it gave me is, the place has really high density! Full article in my blog (NEW)

Countries that I've been to:

Brunei: Consider that I'm a mirian, Brunei is just 2 hour drive from my place and yet, I've only got there twice I think... Nothing much there, no pubs, no clubs as Brunei is a Islamic nation... So no beers is allow there... The main attraction should be their 7-star hotel, Empire Hotel.

Singapore: Went there for my Superstar Virgo trip... Didn't explore much, will certainly go again myself... Went to the night safari though....

Thailand, Phuket: Part of the Superstar Virgo trip... Only stopped at Phuket... Nothing special there cause didn't went snorkelling or diving... Looking forward to go to places like Bangkok...

Hongkong: One of the best place I've went before... The foods there were superb... Foods I mean like the stalls there, not huge restaurant... Their food is similar to our chinese food ... Night life is nice there... The problem was I was 15 or 16 that time and was restricted to many places there... Even going to their CC needs minimum 18 years old...

Taiwan: A nice place too but HK nicer... Shopping here is great... Taiwan is more to visiting historical and scenic places... If you're lucky might get to see celebrities... I've saw Coco Lee there and was like a meter far just from her when she was doing this Omega watches promotion... Nice place though...

China, ShenZhen: Went here from HK so I havent really go to China yet... ShenZhen is mostly all about shopping... Things here mostly replica... Nice place for girls but not for us guys...

South Korea This is also another very nice place... Best place I've ever went too... Travel there at the winter season... First time I see snow here... Food is good also... Shopping isn't that great cause normally they sell sweater or jackets during winter... Unsuitable for us since our climate is already damn hot... Went to the place where winter sonota was shot... Mostly visited scenic places... The winter was really cold here... -10'C, I once left my bottle of water in the bus and guess what? It became froze solid the next day...

Top 5 places I want to go:

South Africa: Seen their Cape Town, National parks and Safari from documentary... Sure this place is nice...

UAE, Dubai: You guys should know all about Dubai right? Palm Island tops everything at the must-see-list here...

Japan: We all love Japan don't we? Hope to go here at their spring season to see their world famous Sakura flowers...

England: Hmm... Would like to visit Emirates stadium and other nice stadiums here... Hope to see a live matches and get an autobiography session with my favourite team

China: Will be great if I can visit motherland once at least

7) Macau - Ineresting Purtuguese mix & u can even find Melaka steet in Macau! The biggest & famous Casino in Macau does not look grand compare to Genting! Got cheated in Macau medicine shop for buying herbs >RM1K..be careful!

Hehehehe, same here... I'll be going to Thailand twice this year, firstly with my gf to Phuket and later with her family (and her also!) to Bangkok and Pattaya...

In fact, last year was somewhat like a Visit Malaysia Year for me when i went to Penang (2x), Cherating-Kuantan-Kemaman (2x also), Cameron Highlands, and Langkawi... So i figured out that this year should be a time to explore the neighboring countries before heading to (most likely) Australia or New Zealand next year...
