QUOTE(hamster9 @ Dec 8 2006, 09:59 PM) study the indicators and you'll know why. Trading in real market is very very much different. Trust me a lot of things that you wont like it. Such as open/close not executed @ the price you clicked (Slippage) during fast/abnormal market condition.I've made virtual money of USD1000 in less than 5 mins |

Try to play with real money lah. Play very very small amount, like USD1 to 10 dollar. Some brokers allow you to trade micro account/pips.
the real market is not in perfect condition during news period. |

I short EUR/USD The market suddenly crash which it is in my favor.(as expected by drawing trend line, I'm scalping) But it crash do fast that I still see there is a potential field to go down further. QUOTE(hamster9 @ Dec 21 2006, 04:45 PM) heh..lucky u close edi...now already uptrend. Scalping only bring maximum profit mah No need greedy next time coz you can still trade another time. Lose 2-3 pips on Live Trading with USD2 would be just 40-60cent difference. U've learnt your lesson here already not to trust Screamyx so much. I usually place my order and log off my Streamster. Lazy wanna see, later heartache only. As long as I know when I open it later, all my positions must be close. For the first day in trading live in a bad market. Today market is not nice especially morning. This post has been edited by billytong: Dec 21 2006, 05:02 PM |

You can fill in a form(usually a broker provide this) and put in your bank acc number. The broker will TT the money to your bankAccount.
Regarding the broker. Try google arround and look for the general public comments, then you will find which broker are generally honest to its customer. Note: FXCM is NOT a good broker according to the source I found in the internet. According to the general public, they manipulate your close position(a lot of slippage) and might put you into manual execution if the market is abnormal. Well I'm oanda live user. I must say their execution time is fast and responsive. I can change my stop loss, take profit as close as the last price, which is very good to take extra profit or reduce my losses during the market went crazy. I also can do scalping. But their spread can go up to 10 to 15 pips during news. So news trader is advice not to trade at oanda for scalping. and Also do not trade at oanda monday morning & Friday midnight.
Oanda java application is not slow if you are on the high performance PC. I had ran it on my AthlonXP2400+,512MB RAM and my Pentium D 2.66GHz,512MB RAM. However I am not really sure on PCs spec that is below mine. This post has been edited by billytong: Dec 31 2006, 08:58 AM |

Well, I have stop trading since the cable had broken on Dec 27 2006. Until then with such unstable line, I would rather dont trade at all than losing my money.
