You can fill in a form(usually a broker provide this) and put in your bank acc number. The broker will TT the money to your bankAccount.

Regarding the broker. Try google arround and look for the general public comments, then you will find which broker are generally honest to its customer.

Note: FXCM is NOT a good broker according to the source I found in the internet. According to the general public, they manipulate your close position(a lot of slippage) and might put you into manual execution if the market is abnormal.

You are right about this. They mainly go after newbies by advertising a lot on Bloomberg and so on. But their trading software is terrible. Not mentioning their spreads, which is higher than others.

ehehehe,so far i haven't take any money out yet from there. But as far as I know, there are charges for such transfer if not mistaken from Marketiva is USD18 (around RM60) and it takes about a month to get it into your local bank account.

yeah i was thinking of using Oanda for my live trading. Ive read at forexfactory, many trader recommend Oanda for newbies.

Well for me, it seems that Oanda looks good because of the low spread, minimum deposit $1 and got good reviews. But the client is java, so kinda heavy to load.

Depends on the broker you choose to trade with.

Oanda and marketiva broker allow a minimum deposit of $1.

Others around $100, $250, $1000 and $2000 but that are for mini account.

Mostly mini account is around $250.

For normal account, around $10k.

Well I'm oanda live user. I must say their execution time is fast and responsive. I can change my stop loss, take profit as close as the last price, which is very good to take extra profit or reduce my losses during the market went crazy. I also can do scalping. But their spread can go up to 10 to 15 pips during news. So news trader is advice not to trade at oanda for scalping. and Also do not trade at oanda monday morning & Friday midnight.

Oanda java application is not slow if you are on the high performance PC. I had ran it on my AthlonXP2400+,512MB RAM and my Pentium D 2.66GHz,512MB RAM. However I am not really sure on PCs spec that is below mine.

The major different that i notice are:

1. The spreads for each currency pair is different. Some broker offer low spread which is good.
2. The client for you to trade. Got 2 version, windows installed or browser(mostly java).
3. Each of the broker client is different while others are the same(metatrader). So some client are user friendly, got lots of charting tools and etc while others dont.
4. The brokers, some is honest while others is not. Like for example during news some broker will have bigger spread and slippage.

Correct me if im wrong.

Anyway, I think now is a good chance to short e/u at 1.3275 for 1.3200

and short g/u at 1.9720 for 1.9580. Can always long usd/chf for 70 pips up.

Pls bear in mind, this is my observation, if you follow and win good for you, if lose, sendiri tanggung.

My gawd. I just finished reading through everyone's posts from page 1 till 33 laugh.gif

Some of the things that I (as a total beginner) can initially conclude on first-time starting:

1. Read babypip.com till finish. This is a must.
2. Just go ahead and try out the Marketiva (as many recommended). You won't know until you try it.
3. There is something that luqmanz is hiding biggrin.gif

Correct me if I'm wrong, sifus notworthy.gif
