QUOTE(tehoice @ Sep 7 2016, 06:24 PM) May I know your 60 bucks per pair guppy is from? i guess it's a normal grade guppy given its price. Also, what strain is it? owh.. i tot must have efficient filtration system.. got any pic of your guppy... if you buying guppy from TW i also wan to join order...hehe.. COD at your place.. one more.. does guppy like ketapang leaves ?coz betta love ketapang leave alot..On the 400 bucks guppies, it is the albino purple grass, very rare species, and almost non-existence in Malaysia, and hence the sky high price. It is a grade SS type and it is imported from Taiwan. If you are keen in buying guppies from Taiwan, do pm me. I swear my price will be SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the price you see from the shop. By the way, 400 is not the most expensive lar. I know a Chinese (mainland) bought 2 pairs of fishes from Taiwan for NTD15,000. so you figure out the price. they are quite sensitive lar. but no need super system to support them la. they can live in my plastic tank with just a sponge filter. great to hear! are you breeding them? or would you ever want to breed them? (they breed easily). if yes, then i suggest you put in those 2ft tank 3 compartments type of tank. guppies don't need a 2 ft tank so big, unless you have lots of guppies in the tank. no need eheim la. mine is just some cheapo air pump with some sponge filter only. bare tank. they thrive healthily. but I do water change very frequent la. to maintain the water to be clean as I feed a lot everyday. |

QUOTE(tehoice @ Oct 31 2016, 10:07 AM) wow, good news! Ketapang tree is actually very common in Malaysia... can be easily found... the tips is to find drop leaves then cure(simply hang dry) with sun for 1-2 days.. then can be use.... although the tree is here..but i'am very confuse on how to recognize Ketapang leaves..some IKEA plant leaves also look like Ketapang leaves...instead i buy Ketapang leave from Jalan Pasar @RM 2 per plastic bag(bunch of 10-15 leave)can keep us posted please. but ketapang leaves, where to find? tannin from driftwood, does it work? we know tannin is good, but we often would try to remove the tannin as it may not be so good visually. yup... the tannin effect might not be best tank view...still sometimes it feel like classic tank...haha |
