like turbo snail in Setapak/Danau Kota area.. slow fast, slow fast..

upgraded to 30 mbps, but like sh*t..

ok jaaa...tiap2 malam streaming xfinity in HD ok jekkk....

use homeplug speed shot up 34-35mbps but torrent still slow because seeders upload all crap.

I would say the speed is much better now but the ping is still shitty. Sucks if you play online game.

are u now using maxis 10mbps? a ex-unifi user ke?hows the service

i am using 50mb unifi and yes during daytime the connection is stable, nighttime become slower.

if use wifi dongle connection dropped around 40%. modem is located 5 meters from my desk.

aku pun ex unifi....so far dah setahun ok jaaa....aku tak pernah call complain lagi....ada satu ja dect tepon dah x leh guna......tapi aku tak pernah pakai pun...so aku abaikan ja laa..

all good except for crappy router provided by maxis.
u can change to custom router though.

Deswai lor, when some people upgrade to 30Mbps, they go anywhere to praise and brag "OMG, so fast! Look at the speed blah blah blah". In the end, all got trolled by Tak Maju and Minister laugh at us while enjoying VIP 100Mbps.

i have astro iptv..plann to upgrade with maxis 10mbps fiber package

previously was on TPLINK AC750. Very good. very fast.
downgraded to asus RT-N12, slow shyt. not good. replaced with somethng else, asus too.

that's what i'm using right now.
maxis fiber wit astro iptv.
i would recommend asus router, make sure u know how to configure the router.

pro so far:
+ line relatively stable, responsive.
+ still can watch astro when raining
+ torrent full speed
+ ping good enough for on9 gaming
+ in my experience from unifi VIP10 last time, browsing & utube smoother, no annoying random slow connection at nite that countless unifi/streamyx users facing
+ a lot of other pros actually comes from astro beyond. such as astro on the go, u can on demand download, show recording even when u're away coz now u can install the astro apps on ur smartphone & control ur decoder bck at home as long as got internet.

cons:
- maxis fiber customer service is very much non-existence, they actually outsource it to 3rd party, mainly TM technician.
so when u do face problem that require technician to com, u hav to wait couple of days bcoz u're not priority customers.
- crappy router
- i face problem where they fail to email to me my monthly bill. miss out the payment date by 2-3 days only, straight kena potong & chage re-connection fees RM20 + GST.
i complain & luckily get to refund the re-connection fees.

unifi down again today, cant even use it.. restart many times also no use...susah
