Which dept? Different depts would have different job descriptions for Technical Support Engineer. Usually, you provide and handle day-to-day technical requests/enquiries from sales engineers (as far as I know)...

Working environment... Ok-lah, not too bad, some depts would have quite a bit of interaction with other ABB offices abroad. Depending on which dept too, might have rather long working hours. A lot of hierarchy and politics and bureaucracy in the company, but oh well, I reckon it's the same case for lots of other companies too.

I could be wrong/inaccurate, so you could ask around wink.gif

First few days at ABB tongue.gif

It was quite fun smile.gif

I got to train with Proton Maintenance Crew.
Programming the ABB robotic arm was easy coz i did tht b4 in skool . The best thing is i get free breakfast, lunch and high tea coz it comes in the training package smile.gif

My department was friendly. Ppl are willing to help out noobs.

Basically a nice company to work with.

Politics do exist a bit tongue.gif

Ignore tht, think + and ABB would be perfect smile.gif

My point of view smile.gif
