Its getting nearer to 5th November date..!!!

Need to ask.... if I were to choose, which one should I go:

a) Nami Island
b) Dae Jang Geum
c) Lotte World
d) Everland
e) free bus shuttle to Gyeongju
f) free bus shuttle to Jeonju

I got only Sunday free to take such journey sad.gif
*
Depends on what your interest is. HEre's wat i saw in the places that i did visit.
a) Nami Island - didn't go can't comment
b) Dae Jang Geum - Filming site u mean? Well i was a big fan of the series so for sure must go but it is quite a trip. Interesting to see the key spots that they filmed at but be prewarned the sets look much nicer on film, real life quite shabby d.
c) Lotte World - not a fan of theme parks so didn't go in from outside at the mall(i'm assuming tat's the right one) so, so only.
d) Everland - didn't go.
e) free bus shuttle to Gyeongju - When i went it was spring so the cherry blossoms in full bloom very pretty, also rapeseed flowers. but nov i dunno. got the tombs which to me was eeee oklah.
f) free bus shuttle to Jeonju - didn't go.

hope this helps.

Thanks for taking time to write this.

I actually following tour there.

First day, will be Saturday and its City tour.
Second day is Sunday which is nothing to do. I just grab a free shuttle to Gyeongju. I'm not sure its the right thing to do. 4 hours bus ride.omg
third day also free to do anything. This is last day.

Can I ask, what is the best thing to do for such a short trip?

Sunday should I go Gyeongju? If not, u say I should go Nami Island. But my gf said she never watch Winter Sonata. Should we still go? Haha
She prefer go Dae Jang Geum park because she watched Dae Jang Geum before. Haha

How about Seoul? What should we do there? Got the Nanta show. Did u go? Or u prefer other show?
*
ooo ic...

City tour u mean u take the shuttle bus >> Seoul City Tour?

if u are taking this Seoul city tour, it seems like u will cover all places in one day...but i think it wudn't be enof..

winter sonata is a just a drama, u just can go there and take a break..it is really a beautiful place...one thing for sure after u get back from nami...u can go straight to Myeongdong station and walked or take a cab to the cable car and go to the N SEOUL TOWER, the view is daebak! (amazing, fantastic), but be prepared to Q at the namsan cable car if u go on the wekend...but it is really worth...buy a package for observatory & Teddy bear museum...u will be surprise..it cost u 12000won each...after that buy a magnet and write ur name, country & ur love sign and put it there...korean teenager wrote it as their memory...hehehe

i dunno about Gyeongju, but i wud suggest u to go the namdaemun market (by subway - Hohyeon station exit 5/6 - namdaemun market) in the morning, really cheap stuff here and then walked to Myeongdong, u can find a branded stuff here like converse, adidas, puma, nine west, etc2 and SPAO if u like korean idol Super Junior, Girls Generation & shinee..u can find tshirt here & official merchandise..and a shopping complex called Migliore...i think ur gf may end up stuck in here...hehe but it's quite expensive since u can get more cheaper at Migliore dongdaemun or Undergorund shopping complex at Bus Express Station...and there also a luxury shopping complex called Shinsigae if i'm not mistaken...if u looking for more stuff then go to the Undergorund shopping complex at Bus Express Station, there are many choice here...and u will never regret...

if u intend to watch nanta or Jump...i wud prefer nanta i think...hehe u can go to the website and search for the latest show...discount coupon and etc...

i went to gyeongju last winter.. the weather in gyeongju was relatively mild. abit colder than busan but definitely not as cold as seoul. gyeongju is a nice place to see historical sites... and the motels there are available between 35000won and above. smile.gif

per night in busan again you can get motels depending on location. the cheapest i've been is 30,000 per night which is about rm 90. (Sasang-gu) . On low peak days of course.

for me i prefer busan than seoul la.. but yet again im just being biased coz ... i lived in busan for a year tongue.gif busan does have alot of special attractions la.. but yet people prefer to go to seoul probably because its bigger..

during spring there are alot of good places at busan and around busan (jinhae) to view cherry blossoms...

also busan has the Haeundae & gwangalli beach, pretty famous throughout korea... very popular place to visit during the summer..

Added on October 20, 2010, 12:16 amin seoul you can try this place called jogno3ga. . but there are motels and yeogwons all around so you can just walk in and ask the price smile.gif

Added on October 20, 2010, 12:18 ambtw the language to ask for how much is a price for one night is

한밤 숙박에 얼마에요?
han bam suk bak eh ol ma eh yo?
how much does one night cost

not perfect korean (i forgot my grammar and structure sentence) but it'll help smile.gif
some places they will have the price already written there..

hope this helps lol!

Good news for those who's looking for cheap and good stay in Korea. I found this website from some Taiwanese forums:

http://innostel.visitseoul.net/en/

The price is good and looks like the quality is not bad as well. It's worth to take a look. Also it seems that the site is endrosed by Seoul Tourism, so it should be reliable.

I've personnaly made a booking for my trip next month. Will update again the experience when I'm back. icon_rolleyes.gif

i went to suwon on 2nd last day of my trip...Suwon - KTO & HWASEONG FORTRESS

from downtown seoul it take about 1hr by subway...n don't get confuse...u have to change a subway...the scenery is ok, quite beautiful...but we can't get around so much since my legs unable to endure to walk anymore sweat.gif ...we got up hill to take the train tour but it was fully booked...end up just let it go...hehe we get back to suwon station (just like KL Central but bigger and has a mall inside named AK MALL...lot's of branded items here like GAP etc..)..i like AK MALL more than the Galleria at Apgujeong kikiki... and i luv the Paldaemun gate...it is situated in the centre of the city...

how about Kara Hotel...it's located at Jongno-3-ga oso...(i assume fr the name u r muslim...so u can find a gh/motel at itaewon oso...i came here many time just to buy the "kebab" at "Mr.Kebab")the fair is quite cheap compare to others..i've stayed at Sunshine Guesthouse...i took the tradisional room at 38000w per nite...but if u staying single it shud be ok but if u want to stay with 2 person in this room...it is not recommended at all since it is really really small room...the gh is ok ok only...there is 1 staff whom is very friendly which i met him every morning when we about to start our journey..hehe if u travel 2 person and want to stay here please consider for family room or double or twin room which is more comfortable..wat i like about this gh is the location...a walked for 1-2 mins only from jongno-3-ga...accessible to Insadong, chonggeycheon stream...pagoda park...and etc...
