not sure about japanese, but like my guide said, all the korean words were modified from chinese letters. that's why sound very similiar too. haha oh well, not a very history person here.

exactly. well, manchu or not. let's call it 'Mainland' to avoid confusion. so yeah, korean & japanese are highly likely to be originated from the mainland.

Continuation my last post:
The place was located at some isolated back yard building. lol. Traditional costumes for everybody to try & camwhore with! Quite cool. Best part is its free. Ok now the process to make kimchi: Materials to prepare the..er..sauce? First add the chilli powder. Add garlic..onions... ..soy sauce..ginger..etc. Mix them up all together~ Spread the sauce evenly on each leaf of the cabbage. Then you tie tie tie and wrap and it becomes like this. My masterpiece. XD Basically everything was over pretty fast. Zzz..the rest of the time spent there was taking pics with the costume and buying over priced souvenirs. =/ |

speaking of t-money, how do you use the paid wifi? oh mai i forgotten the name. starting with Nes...
Added on November 18, 2010, 5:37 pm QUOTE(Pseudonym @ Nov 18 2010, 05:17 PM) does anyone know where is the nearest place to purchase T-money once we reach Incheon. I read from the T-Money site, it stated that there's no counter selling T-Money @ Incheon. And since I'll be arriving in the night, are these shops/booths selling T-Money still open? have fun~I'll be there for 4 days, will be travelling only in town area, furthest i presume will be Hongdae and Namsan area, how much in your opinion should i top up my T-money? Going tomorrow noon ^^ you don't really need a t-money card unless you want to hop around subway and buses a lot. This post has been edited by zstan: Nov 18 2010, 05:37 PM |

So after all the visiting its time for makannnnnn... Ginseng Rice with glutinous rice!!! =D
Technically the restaurant was just below where i had my breakfast. =.= Cold noodles. Very stupid of me to throw the whole bowl in the soup which literally decreased the soup's temperature by a lot! =.= Ginseng + alcohol ...and out it comes. The rice is inside the chicken itself. The meat is also very tender. Including the bones as well. A bit troublesome as you need to spit out the bones every mouthful. After lunch it is off to the amethyst shop. Nothing much to see except buying things again. Amethyst deco, if you don't know how they look like. and more leaves. |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Nov 19 2010, 07:03 PM) Aughh... I don't like naengmyeon during cold season, I don't know why they serve you that. the guide told me its more pricey. that's why serve us this. =.= other alternative is the maggi mee noodles. It only tastes good (I actually don't like it though, whatever the season) during summer time, especially if you work as a labourer. Enjoy your time! Don't worry about anything, just enjoy! |

After kimchi making its time for more shopping!! This time at the duty free face shop. =D This place is really a shopping haven for girls. With all the cosmetics and creams at such cheap price, it really is like a dream come true. Lol.
Face shop duty free my haul. =P Dark eye circles remover after shopping its time to eatttt.. non halal pic » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Honestly it tastes almost the same, or maybe less tasty than the one i had at Kimchi & BBQ, Johor Bahru. The kimchi and appetisers they serve is also very limited. But one thing i like is the UNLIMITED REFILL of the pork!!! XDDD ate about 3 bowls. wakakkaa. If only i got more time i can eat more. =P |

QUOTE(niel @ Nov 20 2010, 09:37 PM) As of 18th Nov, I withdrew from Citibank Korea at a rate of RM2.80 = 1000 won. wa u go how many days. i seoul 2 days also not enough. Personal opinion Busan - not worth the trip, Seoul has so much more to offer! I am here for 2-3 days and can't wait to run out of it. Jeju - More boring than Busan. If you have been to many other countries before, it is pale in comparison. Required a lot of walking if not on tour. Night time is a dead town. Gyeongju - If you really have no place to go, come to see one temple and tombs. Day trip is sufficient. My 2 days trip here is quite a waste. |

After dinner its next to watch the Sachoom show!! =D
Basically its a musical and dance performance by hot girls & guys which tells a story. Ticket price is not cheap though. If can afford, definitely a must watch! Similiar musicals are JUMP, breakout, etc. Start of the scene Baby don't goooo~ =/ ~Muakz~ Oh mai so cute! love the girl's eyes & expression. silently wishing that the guy was me. beautiful dress The crowd dancing along Added on November 20, 2010, 11:42 pm QUOTE(b00n @ Nov 20 2010, 11:40 PM) @Niel, is there a lot of Citibank branch over there? I meant is it easily located? Or HSBC? go nandaemun la. see until your eyes blur. so many to choose from. Anyway, me I'm going to borrow winter clothing from friends. See any trendier and cheap one then only buy there. I saw one type of Adidas before in Japan. It's quite lightweight and not that thick. Didn't buy during then and regretted until now. Seoul Trip 2010-Day 2, Dongdaemun
After the Sachoom show, the guide dropped us at Dongdaemun for us to explore. Basically Dongdaemun is another shopping haven for girls. =P Wonder what this statue means. Bokehlicious Christmas Treee Dotta! Shopping complex. basically like Star Hill & Pavillion but many floors and cramper. Along the road there were stalls selling food & beverages... BBQ sauce chicken fillet. Oh mai the meat is sooo tender can melt in your mouth. 3000 won(RM9) for the record. lol. 3000 won blueberry ice cream. Weather damn cold still eat ice cream. haha. at least it doesn't melt. =P Banana milk..this is nice! =D Spot the difference. Inside of the shopping mall. All winter clothings. Thankfully. If not my wallet sure....... =X No thanks to air asia go. At first, we stay at Incheon for the first night, and then Seoul for the next 2 nights. Now is first day stay Seoul, 2nd day Incheon, 3rd day Seoul. All messed up our timetable and itinerary. Haiz. |
