Hmm, could be true. Coz I went to Everland when it was still Fall. The temperature not that cold during that time.. around 10 C only. Everything there still largely playable.

Anyone tried the Love Hotels/Motels and how was your experience with it? I saw some motels on the Net that look very nice. Are there any not-too-dodgy motels that I can stay which doesn't charge extra for the day? Thanks!

Wonder why they include Everland in the itinerary during winter. Going there end of this December. Should be below freezing.

In winter i was in lotte world.. And that time it was already below zero.. The day before it was snowing summore.. Tried to play the outdoor games... And i swear my face got like.. Frozen in the air.. The wind is crazy+swinging on the ride.... Crazy...
And that is only a small outdoor portion of the themepark... Imagine at everland where 70% is outdoor >_<

However there are some of my friends who went to everland during winter... They hv like slides and all i guess during winter.. Its a long bus ride to everland.. So goodluck riding the bus with all ur winter jackets T____T coz i remember taking the public bus home with no seats available... Having to stand all the way back for an hour to the city is not fun sigh..

I visited everland in spring and it was still cold... But rides were still bearable lol.

When i was still in korea my ex bf visited and we lived in love motels.. They may appear to look kinda dodgy but it is a cheap place to live la.. Read the info on the previous pages... Ive wrote about love motrls before...

Quoted from Tripadvisor about winter at Everland

"Hi, I just came back from Seoul. We visited Everland and spent a whole day there. It was cold but there were heater stands and tents everywhere. If it got too cold you could warm yourself up at one of the stands/tents. But my kids enjoyed themselves anyway!

As for transportation, there are a lot of buses and taxis going to and from Everland until late at night. We took the metro to Gangnam Station and then a taxi to Everland.

From Everland we took a bus back to Gangnam Station before taking the metro back to our hotel. The buses come every 15-20 mins.

Drivers dont speak English and it seems that they pronounce Everland as 'Everand'

The taxi stand is just outside the main entrance.

You can get more info at the tourist info(near main entrance) at Everland.

Enjoy your trip!"

I'm traveling to Korea this december and was wondering instead of taking a ferry to Jeju Island, perhaps might consider to take a ferry to Fukuoka, Japan.

Has anyone did this before? Going to japan from busan...and anyone know how is the budget like?? Thanks =)

Hi,

I am planning to go Korea beginning of next year, hope to be there when there is still snow.

Is beginning of April still a good time to enjoy the snow season?

I am planning to go with 3 other cousins and friends. All together 4 of us, all girls.

Places of interest we are planning to go are:

- Seoul: Shopping, food etc... ( Dongdaemun gate) Or please recommend any interesting place to visit
- Namiseom (Winter Sonata)
- Mt Sorak - Please recommend a happening ski resort) Planned to stay a nite there
- Jeju Island
- Lotte World, everland

And any other interested places you guys could recommend me, a must visit destination.

With all these places we hope to visit, how many days will be sufficient? We are looking forward to a not so rush holiday.

Tour options: We have a few options in mind:
- Book Air asia tickets, hotel on own. Take up local tour/ground tour arrangement with Malaysia or Korea tour agencies.
- Book Air Asia tickets on own. Take up packages with tour agencies
- Back packing: Air ticket, hotel and transport all on our own

Anyone can provide ideas and advices on these? Please recommend also good and affordable hotels in each area.

Thanks so much guys! notworthy.gif
