Is it better to buy the T-Money card or the Soul City pass bcos from my humble understanding here

http://www.seoulcitypass.com/jsp/citypass/citypass_eng.jsp

This card is not refundeable & abit pricey compare wth T-money which can be used almost anything? So what is the benefit on this esp you might not be using the cards 20 times per day kua?

Actually Dongdaemun is a place name & if you know mandarin it's "Dong Tar Men" or "East Big Gate" or the most Eastern side of the 4 Korean walled city gates - Others - Nandaemun (Nan tar men -South big gate - surrounding area also a shopping paradise), Seodaemun (Xi Tar men -West big gate-Destroyed by japanese @1915) & Sukjeomun (Part of Gyeongbokgung Palace hmm.gif but dunno the meaning..Does not sound North or Bei in Mandarin to me haha)

Below is the East- Dongdaemun:

The North or the main Sukjeonmun (not accessible to Public):

And lastly the destroyed West gate - Seodaemun by Japanese (no more liao)

And wawasan getting from bad to worst. They used to be the best but no more. Even there is one Money changer that used to be lousy no wbetter than them in Mid Valley already..i.e the margazine shop near Jusco supermaket.

I was at BB Plaza on Saturday & the Curve on Sunday. All the Money changers both at BB Plaza & The Curve offering better than Wawasan..haizzz dunno what happen to them liao

On Sat, Wawasan still offering 2.98 and this one at BB plaza (Not so clear) offering only 2.90. Those in the Curve is offering 2.93

No wor....just now only saw buying RM2.70 and selling RM3.00 for 1000won at Tesco Puchong's Galaxy Pacifiic money changer leh.

Added on November 24, 2010, 11:46 amThose came back confirmed the rate at Incheon Airport also bad. In Malaysia, Won also badly traded..as I mentioned earlier..The market rate @ Today qouted by Bank Negara= 2.722 but Money changers here still selling from 2.90 to 3.10

The best to get almost to the market rate - Change abit here at ~ 2.90 & thereafter wth your activated ATM, witdraw from the ATMs there. Someone getting 2.80 by withdrwaing from AT rclxms.gif (Citibank card. Not sure about maybank cars..) Otherwise..buy using credit card to get the best market rate.

QUOTE(bloxxzone @ Nov 24 2010, 11:35 AM)
is it better to change here or in korea.. neway seoul in dec will be sub zero temperature.. all the place u guys mention will be operating as usual eh??

Actually I find Naryangin interesting too haha..This is where you can see Seoul rather than shopping-shopping & shopping

BTW, from wikimapia, the tallest building (63) is opposite Naryangin Market. Is it possible to walk across from Naryangin to that building?

Soju is common liqour found everywhere in korea..Their beer-lah. The word similar to chinese meaning Shou jiu or Burnt liqour..however Shou jiu is not popular in Chinese culture anymore...Chinese prefer Calsberg haha biggrin.gif

Previously rice wine but according to wikipedia, They replace the rice with other starches such as potato, wheat, barley, sweet potato, or tapioca liao

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soju
QUOTE(b00n @ Nov 26 2010, 01:44 PM)
It is basically rice wine. Same as Sake(Japan) or tuak(Iban/bidayuh's moonshine).

Why u sked already kah? It is a concern to us but well just pray hard nothing will happen as this is not the 1st time although it's the worst for the past 60 yrs since the last war stopped in 1950.

Korean won should dropped by now but suprisingly still strong as qouted by Bank Negara! Suprising news, atlast wawasa has marked down their stupid 2.98 rate to 2.95 but still worst compare wth those money changers in PJ (2.93) & KL Bkt Bintang (2.90)
