Just bought razer blackwiddow chroma for rm599. Very satisfied with the keyboard and cool factor especially the ripple effect.

QUOTE(captvizcenzo @ Sep 24 2015, 05:36 PM) Thanks. It is consider 'audiophile' grade but I won't really take that quote too seriously, I tried the wires with my 535ltd, the sound is quite 'thin' and bass is not that pronounced. If just use for keyboards, then no issue and it looks quite pretty, just that the lighting in my room sucks. Hopefully in November, currently busy with exams. That 8 wire braid seriously take some time to make. Perhaps this pic below can show it better » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

hi guys. are there any other quick fire rapid-i users here? i've been using it for about 9-10 months. no doubt, it's a good keyboard, but 3 weeks after using it, some of the leds on the keys died but the keys work just fine. i dont really mind cuz i turn the leds off most of the time. but now what annoys me is that the backspace key, delete key, and the right arrow key have all stopped working. however the leds are still alive
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « what is happening right here? i tried "turning it off and on again" by plugging and unplugging to another different usb port but it doesn't fix the problem so now i suspect is mechanical keyboard failure... i bought this through a seller in lelong so i guess i'll just claim warranty :/ just sharing my thoughts to those who plan to purchase this model of keyboard. extremely faulty, having a lot of issues on LEDs (gosh i didn't know this until i googled AFTER the leds on my keyboard died so fast) This post has been edited by nothintodo: Sep 26 2015, 01:36 AM |

But if you are adventurous and like to DIY, can always try to open up the case then take a look at the PCB, sometimes it do tell something. Occasionally there might be switched which badly/forgotten to solder, which may explain the premature dead of certain switches. This post has been edited by Human10: Sep 26 2015, 04:54 AM |

Mechanical switch rarely ko. Either bad soldering or the pcb board had issue. Happened to split some water inside?
