I do not know if anyone here "senior" enough to experience an underated gem, MS Saga. It was a gundam jrpg, mobile suit raging from original UC to God to Wing etc.

Around 70 hours, and i'm done with the main story, and this includes the true ending.
Now to play clear the rest of the side quest and etc, and 100% the game. Story wise it's very good. Battle wise, literally like old jrpg games. Characters are nice, the world is great. Art direction and everything pretty good. My only problem would be the midi osts, it's a bit too high pitched, but the rest no issues. On PC I downloaded an orchestra mod, so it isn't midi songs. Overall really good, worth the 5 year wait. Now to wait for DQ 12 |

QUOTE(Speccy48+ @ Sep 27 2018, 01:19 PM) Not sure how many hours i have played....this game seems to be really easy. I have reached the placw now under that orphanage with the one eyed spider monster boss. This is first boss i have bit of trouble with (because i didnt even bother to grind at all and run straight to the boss without fighting any monster in the dungeon.) I am on "normal" and find it easy too, should have started with harder mode. Classic JRPG were harder to play or maybe I was too young back then. The battle system is kinda lacking.....maybe my expectaction too high after completing Octopath Traveller. |

Add hard mode settings it will be as usual. I added a few and it felt more challenging.

Post game story is where it's awesome imo. I'm still not done with side quests.. Think i'll play hard mode if I think about replaying this game some other time.

Dragon Quest X Offline Version May Come to the West
October 9, 2018Written by Aidan Simonds dragon quest 10 offline The release of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age has certainly revitalized the Dragon Quest franchise in the West. With the increased attention, many have been wondering if this means Dragon Quest X might finally see release outside of Japan. Well, we could finally see this long-elusive, though in a possibly different fashion. In case you don’t know, Dragon Quest X is a departure for the iconic RPG series. It is an MMORPG. Originally released for the Wii 2012, it was later ported to a number of consoles, including the PlayStation 4. When speaking of a possible worldwide release, former Dragon Quest X Producer Yosuke Taito (who left in August 2018), had this to say: Even within the traditional Dragon Quest series, Dragon Quest X is packed with excellent stories. Talk of an offline version often comes up, and I don’t think the possibility is zero. It would be great if we could introduce it to fans to play somewhere. Dragon Quest Series Producer Yuu Miyake followed up by saying, “Since Dragon Quest X has tons of rich stories, I would like to make something that can tell those stories, including to players overseas.” Miyake also stated a wish to bring an develop an offline version of the RPG. Now, this is far from a full-blown confirmation of a Dragon Quest X localization. However, it does certainly show the desire is there. One of the producers of Dragon Quest XI previously said more localizations depend on sales numbers, so hopefully the buzz around Dragon Quest XI will help its case. Dragon Quest XI is certainly a critical success, so we shall see if that will translate to more Dragon Quest titles being brought to the West. |

Just platinum-ed the game ... well worth the time.
I very rarely chase trophies, once finished with main story, next game ... DQXI however, since the post-game is a must also, and since already almost explored all places, forged almost all fashionable costumes, picked up and dropped almost all vases, read almost all red books, opened almost all chests, almost puff-puffed all, etc., might as well complete all the trophies. ^0^ Still need online guides tho, especially the crossbow targets ... those ar ... =_=" Only played DQVIII on PS2 before ... this brings back the fond memory and feel of enjoying 200+ hours of slow paced story/gameplay (sometimes slept while playing ^o^). However, last time can play with one hand only while the other hand was feeding my mouth with keropok/food/drinks; the control scheme was mirrored on both side of Dualshock 2. This time, still can almost play with one hand but not really. Looking forward to DQXII in the future, or DQX if really offline localised to English version. |
