you got speed up a bit at the pass there? and nice one... me myself never do pass...lol...
*
Haha.. still trying to speed it up and making it smoother. I personally find pass the most devastating move to show my spectators. I do it all the time and so far... only got caught once because the cards stuck. sweat.gif

QUOTE(kellymagic @ Nov 19 2008, 09:28 AM)
where can i get theory 11 stuff in malaysia ? any idea ?
*
If you're talking about videos. I think it's only available in the website itself. As for the cards you can get it from online stores such as themagicstreet or magicgarage.

But the spectators know that you have apply some move. The only thing is that donno what are you doing...haha.. unless you misdirect them..
*
Amazingly they have no idea that I applied any move. cause up till now I only show the pass to my closer friends and I ask them for feedback. They'll usually tell me 'I had no idea what just happened.. it didn't seem like you've done anything until you turned over the top card'. But I still try to improve myself in front of the mirror everyday. biggrin.gif

=.=" That was really creepy. Not to mention it was one of the first magic videos I watched when I started learning. Really a bad impression for beginners.

So far the only weakness I can see in my pass is the damn jerk.. I usually compensate by moving my body more (while talking to the spec) to cover that movement. haha.

OMG laugh.gif  !!!!!! This trick will be the best trick for 2008 !!!

Infant By Shaun Dunn - Papercraineproductions  thumbup.gif

Watch it !!!
*
Hmm.. I disagree with that.. the one which he performed definitely has a very extensive setup and preparation. Spectators will be betting on the fact that the person with the baby is a stooge (even though he/she MIGHT not be) which is a very horrible thing if your trick/effect draws such speculations.

Need tips on doing the classic pass sad.gif
isit carrying the bottom pinky slipped half to the "TOP" or from " Bottom To Top" .  Or isit like doing the single hand cut but this time using a hand to block the audiencce from seeing it ?
How different isit from invisible pass ? been very blur this few days doing this trick . i think im not doing it right.
*
haha... I'm sorry we can't give too much details right here in this forum or it'll be exposing. You can look at my video though. That's the angle that I would perform to cover so that the audience can't see what I'm doing.

QUOTE(Napmi @ Dec 23 2008, 03:20 PM)
Um Another thing... Im a Bit Blur How to do finger fan.
how to push the card nicely ? and the force applied ... to hold the cards... not sure how much
and when i turn the deck... isit have to control up and down the pressure i put on the cards with the thumb?
*
Fanning... very hard to teach.. you need to do it many times to get the feel of it.

How many people you usually perform for asher twist? I only dare to show 1 person at a time. ahhahaha.. if more than 1 people I'll usually just show the typical twisting the aces.

Wow thats fast passing...
lolz .
Been doing quite many times lately the invi pass and still trying hard on the classic pass which i think* my hands are a bit too small but i think it doesnt makes alot of difference in the trick.. doing it still incredibly slow ... and dropping lotz of cards lol .
Is this actually easier than tenkai palm ? trying incredibly hard to keep steady hands on the cards when i pass it ,so it doesnt falls on the ground.lol
*
imo if possible just do the classic pass.. invisible pass very weird and un-natural to me. Add a bit of misdirection to your classic pass. The thing I notice is that I can get away 100% the first time with classic pass.. 2nd time still ok.. 3rd time some people would've notice what I've done. Experimented many times on purpose. lol.. I think it's because during the first time no one expects you to do anything so you can get away very very easily.

I agree with you. You try preparing it about an hour or 2 hours before your presentation. It's cheap, save money. Try practicing few times. I tried before and it works.

anyone know how to do some magic tricks using cards?
can teach? biggrin.gif

You pay me I teach you how to impress girls! hahaha..

I'm curious.. how many of you actually have the opinion that doing magic can attract girls? I have a lot of guy friends who always go 'wow.. can kao lui' when I show them tricks. However I myself don't find it a good 'kao lui' tool at all. In fact if can play musical instruments way better. What do you guys think?
