QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Jul 10 2018, 10:10 PM) Today I got SMS regarding AirAsia Citi cards will be discontinued by 1 Aug 2018, and those whom are using these cards will be replaced with Citi Rewards Card. Is it a good card? If not, I would like to opt for a lower annual fee card like Citi Clear Card. EDIT : they offer 3 years annual fee waiver upon switching to Rewards Card though. Now i also just recalled that i receive such SMS but havent digged into it

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Jul 11 2018, 03:50 PM) The transition offer seems good though. 3 years annual fee waiver, 10k reward points upon activation and free 60k points after spending RM2000. I called them to double confirm, and yes, they will discontinue it. Best part is, points accumulated during ownership will be transferred to the new card. However, should we continue using the card after 1 August is something that i'm unsure of. Hmm.. apply auto billing and get RM50 cash back for affected users https://www.citibank.com.my/global_docs/pdf...MOWDMYAAUENWC02

QUOTE(pvateme @ Jul 26 2018, 09:34 AM) just noticed, this thread is not as active as the pb thread. just to share, after about 1 month from applying a card during their citicybersale, i received an email about the rm500 voucher code. How to get this? Totally no use CITI after they revised their CB terms & conditions. Only use the card for installment plans And just realised that my card gonna get annual charge soon, any idea how to waive? Just call CS will do ? QUOTE(pvateme @ Jul 26 2018, 10:01 AM) citibank dont give annual fee waiver on cash back card, or perhaps, the best given is half of the annual fee waiver. my father has very bad experience with them on his something mileage card, which charge him for rm600 annual fee. after few rounds with CS on the phone, still not succeeded. Even if cancel, my father still hv to pay the full amount. they did offer to pay half of the annual fee, but being rejected by my father. end up issue solved by walking into the branch, and the officer + another CS from call center help to change to another card and waive the entire fee. my colleague got half of the annual fee waived only. citicybersale is over, till 1 july only, i applied my clear card during that period. offer is 3 yrs annual fee waived and rm500 voucher from several merchants, pick 1. Dang, sounds so gg for me, forgot mine is Cash Back Plat or normal

QUOTE(edisoner90 @ Jul 16 2019, 10:30 AM) Able to get annual fees waiver after 3 years? i see. Citi PM not applicable for me. wont utilize often. Mine is conditional cause last time they revamp the CitiBank Airasia card to current Citi Reward Card Plus i planned to cancel that card cause macam no use for me and called them They didnt question much and wanna retain me by offering me 2 or 3 years waiver which i forgot Ngam i also have the Citi Cash Back and sambil naik lorry ask them. Conclusion : AF waived for ?? years that i currently cannot remember. Conclusion 2 : anything just call CS, they are not strict at all for AF waiver.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 17 2019, 10:46 AM) Rewards points only for Rewards cardholders and Cash Back is for cash back cardholders then. It's not common and should not be happening at all. Should call and check. I used to have OCBC card and after cancelled, didn't receive anything from them anymore. I have both card but received reward SMS ~~ nuu~~

QUOTE(CardNoob @ Jul 19 2019, 01:45 PM) It also happens on credit card. It's not transparent to you only. Your CL will be reduced by 200 for sure. Yea, that's why i cant continue to use my CC today after that cause Citi basically is my EzPay card Which almost >90% usage Then this RM200 ate up =.= burst This post has been edited by TongCN: Jul 19 2019, 01:51 PM

QUOTE(Kcee @ Jul 21 2019, 05:16 PM) True total cashback will only be shown upon statement generated. Hi bro. The cash back is based on statement date generate, right? Right now my cash back showing RM0.72 where as my normal statement date is 7th of the month. I should not care about for the RM0.72, correct? Still need another RM100 to achieve RM500 for my Cash Back card >.<

QUOTE(monara @ Aug 1 2019, 11:18 AM) Guys, was charged for AF (as well as sst) few months back, is there any chance cs didnt want to waive if i give them a call? It's cb card. I also considering to to cancel this actually, since not much cb after they rvise the rate. Any other benefit need can be considered? Just try call or livechat with them since no harm to ask. Your chance is 50% anyway (waive or move on)

QUOTE(CardNoob @ Aug 6 2019, 09:20 AM) SST charged few days earlier. I asked for rebate on SST but failed to get it. For the card cancellation, I need to pay for it. Only no need to pay for AF. I still have few instalments under my card I'm using cash back (RM120) and reward (RM600)
