if i don't activate my citi card means no annual fees right?

Same here. My application is still processing as of yesterday. I think I submitted my application 3 weeks ago. But I've received calls from them to verify my application, and my HR also mentioned that a bank called to ask about me, which I'm pretty sure is Citibank.

I submitted my application online on 2Aug, furnished all documents by 3Aug n then got a call from CS on 7Aug to verify certain particulars after which he proceeded with my application.

How to cancel my CC? Call center? Do i need to cancel a non-activate CC?

They send credit card by courier service or snail mail?

I already met their annual income requirement, hence why I simply shoot for Platinum. I don't really need it to be Platinum. I applied for their signup promo, and in case there's any promotion.

Fulfill income is one of the category.

Banks can choose to offer you a different card or not offer you at all.

Like PBB's case.... Income exceed.... Approval another story 

Side note : My Cashback Citi limit > 15k but they still issue me the normal card 

Citibank also got minimum CL for a certain card ma.

Maybe salary lepas but banks can't offer that much CL due to their risk department reasoning.

For me, card color or level does not matter. Janji can use and CL enough

I usually use the Clear for Coffee Bean and TGV on fridays. And occasional Dominos 

Yeah, friday buy 1 free 1 is a good deal + you can choose either GSC or TGV.

Not limited to just 1 brand of cinema.

I thought banks usually don't disclose why exactly they disapprove or approve you a lower level card? Previously my CIMB card was rejected, and I called CS to ask exactly why. They mentioned that they cannot disclose that information. I assume it's the same for all banks.

I'm no sure how long it takes. but last 2days and today received sms and email notification my application was approved. And the card may take within 2 weeks for deliver.

hello sifus sekalian...I tried applying Citibank Citi Cash Back Card online but was faced with an error below. My annual income is beyond the bare minimum of RM 36,000, so I don't know why my application wont go through...can anyone advise what might be the reason?

hmm highly unlikely, I have been making timely payment to PTPTN. Maybank recently granted me a credit card, if my CCRIS score is bad Maybank would not grant me no?

Yes. I applied for Citibank Simplicity. But one question I wanna ask u guys, I already have Maybank 2 cards, HSBC Visa Platinum & Amanah, CIMB Visa Platinum & Enrich Platinum Master. So does the bank still approve my Citibank? The reason I applied this few banks is cause of their different benefits. But my usage is more on HSBC because of 12 swipe per annual in order to get annual fee free but the rest CC I have is free for life.

Not bad for a first credit card

Inform the CS that you would like a waiver directly before the annual fees month, if cannot just ask for card cancellation.
