QUOTE(kop2299 @ May 3 2019, 11:51 AM) For that 1000 spending, Can i reload BOOST to qualify? I submitted application just only for the 500 boost code. not too sure, but i reload to bigpay and shopee accumulate to ~1500 already, after few weeks i might call citibank ask, if bigpay not qualify i will divert some other card expenses here |

QUOTE(faizfizy39 @ May 19 2019, 05:31 AM) I'm not expecting to wait this long for the card to arrived. Idk who made the decision to send the card by snail mail. Last time I sign up BigPay, the delivery is way better. mine takes exactly 5 business day to reach, approved on 24 April, reach 2 May. (after one public holiday but citibank approval quite fast, i submitted all documents on 22 April. 24 April already received sms. mine is clear card, since 2nd May activated i already reload 1001 to bigpay, ~800 on others spending (online, coffee bean.. etc), plan to call them up next month to check whether is eligible for RM500 evoucher, if not, i will spend the remaining 200 to hit 1000 (if bigpay not counted) This post has been edited by vez: May 19 2019, 06:06 PM |

QUOTE(ftan @ May 26 2019, 03:06 PM) Received my card on Friday via snail mail. Nothing grand about the packaging. Looks like a normal bill letter. Anyway, I have activated the card and will use it for normal expenses. Have some stuff to buy anyway. will be long wait for eVoucher i guess, i have activated the card on 2nd May and spend RM1001 on the same day |

QUOTE(the7signals @ Jun 5 2019, 01:28 PM) This is what i was told by my citi fren, citi only will like u when u only pay the minimum every month, so that they can earn interest from ur account. If not, they dont like u. To them, earning merchant fee only is not as lucrative as earning interest. once in a while they will “kick” out these kind of customers. Citi tend to give good welcoming gift to new sign up and zero gift to old loyal customers. I was not the only one who kena, some of my other frens also kena. All of us have moved over to HSBC. citi premier miles? they have promotion waive 3 years AF for new customer For my case, they asked me to write in to appeal for the waiver. the way they made it as if i need to beg for the waiver. So i just set off the points i have for the RM600 annual fee and the balance of points with voucher, thereafter i just cancelled the card. After cancellation, citi called me again to ask me why i cancelled the card and i justify everything to them. I also told them that it was not that i simply ask for waiver without using the card as my average charge per month was around RM4k. They didnt ask me to change my mind and continue to use the card. Citi card was my 1st card since graduation and also the only credit card i used. The call ended and so was my 18 years of relationship with citi. bank always want new customer only, giving out gift... but left out some old and loyal customer... just like Fixed Deposit, using fund from other bank, can get higher FD rate, if from same bank, sorry... really |

QUOTE(blackamikaze @ Jun 19 2019, 08:58 PM) How long it take citibank to process after we submitted all the documents? My status still show submitted nowadays quite fast for all bank, HSBC takes 5-6 days to approve...but i notice Citibank very fast... recently i applied Citibank clear card on Monday morning online submitted all docs together... Wednesday afternoon receive sms card on the way, the only problem is they use to send with snail mail... take 5 business day to reach... but i am not from Klang Valley, i am North region... if those at Klang Valley may be 1-3 business day perhaps btw i dont have any accounts with Citibank, some may thought maybe have accounts, prioritize lol This post has been edited by vez: Jun 20 2019, 01:58 PM |

QUOTE(jeff_85 @ Jul 20 2019, 04:09 PM) hi all, can citi credit card waive the annual fees?let says i get the card on 1 august 2019, so the annual fees will only charge after 1 year which is year 2020?if its true, after 11 months of holding this card, i decided to cancel it, so means i wont be charges for the annual fee correct? annual fee is mean pay first then use, if you get the card 1 Aug 2019, from 1 Aug 2019 to 31 July 2020 annual fee to pay when you activate the card.let say next year 1 Sept 2020 you decided to cancel the card, and you just paid AF on 1 Aug 2020, you can get back pro-rated annual fee what sign up promotion you apply for? if not mistaken Citibank provide 3 years waive of annual fees recently... if you entitle for 3 years annual fee waiver, and your card is from 1 Aug 2019 then for 1 Aug 2019 - 31 July 2020 (waived) 1 Aug 2020 - 31 July 2021 (waived) 1 Aug 2021 - 31 July 2022 (waived) so you will need to pay after 1 Aug 2022, thats AF is for period from 1 Aug 2022 - 31 July 2023 p/s: for most of the credit card, even without promo, usually when you apply and get, first year is waived This post has been edited by vez: Jul 20 2019, 11:33 PM |
