brand i no want acer lenova
i want do slight programming long battery live, light weight

1. Preferred Brand: No
2. Budget: 2000 to 2500++(cheaper better, anything fall below this price range is appreciated)
3. Usage: Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop, web browsing and movies, lots of movies.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size:13" to 14"

Need machines that has high portability and reasonable performance.

I travel a lot and work everywhere...literally, in car, train, buses, restaurant, stations, pubs, toilets...u name it. need something that's light weight and long battery life. I rarely play any games on my laptop.

U can try Inspiron 3458 i5, 4gb, 500gb,

If not mistaken, G501 need around RM 6.4k got GTX960M with 4Gb GDDR5. With that price you can actually get Illegear Z5 Skylake top with GTX970M with just around RM5.5k.

Sorry my mistake. If G501 with GTX960M 2Gb then yes the price around RM3.6k. Maybe top up a little for Illegear Z5 Haswell for 4299.

browsing more? how bout 15" but very slim..? i think suitable to carry around. might be slightly heavy than 13" but its slim and powerful processor and graphic card will give you bonus its does not comes with optical disk (that makes it slim). it just very compact. the monitor slightly better than 13" out there. unless you want stick with 13" also does not matter.. but if your video and photo editing is kinda heavy, it might stress up the processor...

For 14" you probably need to add about less than RM100 for Lenovo Yoga.

after scouting for days, I've decided to buy asus ux305....but it confuses me with its variant...there is different package. what I saw mostly on review was the one with 8gb ram, and 256 ssd, but some of the dealer selling different spec
