That's will defeat the purpose of having an FAQ no? Unless you want the FAQ to be completely offside links?

but of course, general knowledge base should be put there first...only the latest ones we just put url as a reference. (just in case the TS couldn't maintain it)

Contributors at starting will have one, then slowly it will get less and less and then stop altogether.
As for TS maintaining it, you can't expect the ts to do everything since he or she is taking his own time to write everything up.

i say scrape it.

If there're important details someone else posted that should be added, you can can PM the moderators besides the TS to include it in the FAQ. It's the mod's job as well as the TS to update the FAQ thread, and everyone should help with providing infomations and to alert the mod/TS about it.

Basic infos about the console/ handheld, what they should do when buying them, and how to operate it. I think the FAQ should a least include these 3 things and should be kept as simple as possible. People can just post questions in the thread if the problem isn't mentioned in the FAQ.
