This is how i feel :

1. too much pinned topic.
2. too much thread spawning basically discussing the same thing.
3. The DS thread which has DS owner list should merge with DS Lite thread.

there's too much thread here right now and sometimes it gets overwhelming which thread to read and reply. I think the DS thread is where you all should post all your kopitiam stuff.

1. November Meetup Poll and Great Nintendo DS Meetup can be combined.

2. DSLite club and DS thread? Isn't it the same thing. A DS is a DS whether lite or phat.

3. Personally, I don't think the Nintendo counter in Malaysia deserves to be pinned.

Or the nintendo comes to malaysia thread can be pinned as a report of new games arrive at the counter?...That would be nice because ppl wont have to purposely go MV just to find that the game not yet arrive

The main reason I created a "Upcoming Game Releases" thread is to accomodate game info's, screenshots, trailers, movies, and various other news. Instead of posting these info into the thread, people seem to be opening up a new threads. Based on your prespective, you may see this as right or wrong..

Long ago I was also reluctant to support the DSL thread, but since it has gained it's own followings, it still lives till today. I believe that some DSL members has segregated themselves from being part of the Nintendo DS thread, if we do decide to throw/merge DSL with DS, I suggest the people from the DSL thread re-announce themselves in the DS thread.

As Mr. Hahn said, kopitiam talks should be based in their own respective threads, such as news about that specific device(DS, GC, Wii, GBA).

Games that has been released, and NOT released, should be discussed in the "Upcoming Game Releases" thread.

Lastly, the FAQ should have all info, DS, Wii, GBA, GC.. And that includes Wifi troubleshooting, and also friendcodes.

I think hot games (for those have been released) deserve their own topics or else Upcoming Game Releases thread will be very messy, with people asking "how to get onion knights ah?" or "how to catch (insert pokemon's name here)".

News for those yet to be released should remained in Upcoming Game Releases thread.

As everyone said, Upcoming Game Releases should be about Upcoming Releases and not talk about games that have already been released.

I also feel the need to educate people on the "search" function.

The nintendo counter thread should be unpinned and a new thread should be made where either PM or some other Nintendo counter personnel comes in and make announcements.

The market thread is also kinda messy right now with a lot of people double posting. I actually prefer the ones in the Sony area or the XBox area (except PJ is kinda busy to clean it up these days).

I think i need to be a temp mod first... hehe.. then i will re arrange the whole forum.. after tat... i can relinquish as a mod...

if not.. i second the notion that evoHann be teh mod..

Agreed way too much thread discuss same issues.

I have no problem is someone want to merge my NDSLite Club to DS Club. Basically it started as a list only with the intention to discuss Lite specific news and issues but then new thread emerge discussion price, accesories etc2. So in the end its become mainly for forumers to 'register' their dsl.

I still think its ok to open a thread just to discuss acccesories, one for pricing. Specific thread for a particular games. But upcoming games, news should only stay in one forum only. And newbie should learn to use search button.

Maybe new mod that like to spend sometime here whould help put things organised. There are a few nomination already. Why not?

or like firstknight suggest, temporary mod helping busy mod is a good idea. I belive there are a few takers who are willing to help.

Erm, game discussions(threads) may actually be brought up if there ARE people playing the game.

Prime's game list should be sent to "Upcoming Game Releases" because I update the 1st post whenever a game has been released. Future release dates should be reported there. I don't like the fact that I'm alone on this

But I degress, this isn't my thread/forum nomatter how informative I wanna be

Well if want to cut out pinned, i suggest we cut

1. nintendo in malaysia
2. faq - just ask in respective thread
3. pool/meet-up - merge into one Nintendo Community only.

But at least there should be pinned:

1. Wii
2. DS
3. Gamecube + GBA
4. Codes - DS + Wii - One post per person only
5. Chamber of Commerce

I wish my DSLite can merge with DS community which list what games a person have. But I like it to be like Chamber of Commerce, one post per person only. But i'm not a mod to enforce this. Plus mod have other things to do.

Or..... Make a new subcategories :

1. Nintendo Games sub Forum
2. Accesories Discussions
3. Homebrew

i dont find any problem with nintendo thread to be honest.

the only low point i find it here is it aint's active enough...

but on the other hand, NDS is meant to be enjoy playing, not to talk about.

All in all. We all agree in oen thing. A more active mod. Evohahn. Go apply lar.

I don't think this Nintendo forum in dire situation. But it won't hurt to have a little cleanup to tidy things up. There're too much pinned topics already.Pinned topics should looked like this, IMO.

1. Since we're ultilizing manual votes, there're no need for the voting thread. Polls should be held in the main meetup thread instead.

2. GC + GBA + any old ninty system.

3. Wii

4. DS (all DS and DS Lite questions/discussions should be posted here.

5. Upcoming games thread

6. Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (Friend Codes, technical/settings, game hosting/organization)

7. Yup, a Ninty community spam thread.

8. Maybe I'll create a thread for Malaysia Ninty shop and update from there. Doesn't need to be pinned though.

Questions/FAQ should be asked/posted in their respective threads.

Since Kite and H@H@ isn't very active in the Nintendo forum, and Sony's forum have 2 user mods. I think another mod is needed here. I don't mind anyone as long he/she does his/her job.
