I would like to clarify that the Smart$ was credited fully for my previous 4 attempts at BHPetrol. I saw the wrong column previously.

Even the wordings of Affin Bank can be seen behind the cc receipt, the smart$ is still credited.

good to hear that.

affin wordings behind cc receipt just mean that they use affin paper on the terminals (can be on uob terminal too). some even use epay paper on the terminals. it can't prove anything.

just applied uob CC thru a roadshow, i called CS and asked the road show agent, annual fee will be waived for the first 2 years? is this true for everyone?

also applied for preferred platinum which gives plaza prem. lounge access but the criteria is to spend at least 500 per month for the previous 3 months prior to visiting the lounge.

The Preferred Plat or PRVI is not worth for PPL.
There are other better and no conditions card, for e.g. Aeon Gold.

For new UOB one cards, 2 years of annual fees are waived? Just wanna make sure.

if not yet applied, confirm that point with the agent.

If CS said yes, then suddenly the charge how? direct call to cut it?

Call and discuss with the CS. Threaten to terminate won't help.

if cs said yes means he/she already double confirmed by checking your account in the system. so won't suddenly charge you already.

In June I apply UOB card, agent say need to apply three cards to get a free luggage.
Received cards 2 weeks later and wait for the luggage, thought is from bank, no news. Until one day I pass by a UOB road show, met the same agent and only know that the luggage is from agent. So guys, remember to check with agent.
