QUOTE(Reapies @ Nov 4 2015, 08:02 AM) Just saw that my UOB One card was charged annual fee of RM68 despite fulfilling all the swiping requirements. I would also wanna know what is the swiping requirements needed to fulfill.Called CS and they said that since this card offers cash rebates, there will be no more annual fee waiver from now on. If card has UniRinggit points, can use that to waive the AF. Threatened to cancel the card, the CS said he will refer to higher management and since I have no late payment record, I should check my online statement to see if the AF has been waived. Wasted 10 mins on a phone call on such a kiam siap bank >:( Like HLB Wise, it's a cash rebate card also, hence already stated no AF waive since day 1. UOB One, the best they could give me was 50% off my AF last year. Mine is Platinum somemore, 50% also more than RM68 |

Aiyo this UOB make me headache. I have UOB One and VOX card.
Last month I didn't use my One card cause I wanna cancel it (or try my luck with AF waiver) as its anniversary is coming December. So my statement for One card for October is zero. My VOX card had outstanding and I paid the full amount to my VOX card via online IBG. Today I receive my November statement. There is a credit of RM50 in my One card And then they deduct RM50 from my payment for VOX card. So happen my 5% rebates also RM50 so no interests charged luckily. I recall some of you guys had this issue also earlier. I think I better just call them and cancel the One card. Stupid UOB. |

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Nov 24 2015, 04:48 PM) Ya, same case to me... I need to double check after few days of payment to ensure no interests charge. Yea, seems like every month also it'll be like this. Then have to call them to transfer the credit amount to VOX card.Planning to cancel One Card too, otherwise, it is so troublesome I would say... How come UOB Banking Account process this way Just spoke to their CS. Since I still have some smartcash balance, I'm gonna redeem it then proceed to cancel the One card after that. |

QUOTE(pangch @ Jan 4 2016, 10:37 AM) Canot waive by swipe 12 times per years ? I got this info from the sale man that help me apply one card UOB One card waive AF? Nah, they will not. I swipe definitely more than 12x a year in the past. Request for waiver a few times and they said the best they could give me was 50% of my One card platinum AF. I cancelled my card before my AF was charge last month. Then only they tried calling me and sending me mails to offer to waive the AF. Somemore got *with terms and conditions applied. Couldn't be bothered anymore. Since I only use it for petrol rebates, I can get better deals elsewhere. |

QUOTE(shiroikun @ Jan 4 2016, 05:15 PM) Last night saw my PRVI charge with annual fee + GST , call up and ask for waiver, today the reversal reflected Yea, that's one of the tactic also. Previously some have raised their voice at CS and also threaten to cancel the card only they will waive the AF.I raise up my voice, why charge annual fee after converted my preferred plat to PRVI, i hold their preferred plat for 5 years and not even a year they charge annual fee or require me to call up for waiver. May be you guys should raise your voice to the CS...hahaha But I don't want such hassle la. I'm bad at raising voices to others |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 4 2016, 05:36 PM) I complained twice, once in August and once in October. However, this voucher was given based on my complaint in August. Ooooh. Yea I remember that. The card going here and there send to wrong places lol. I checked back my record was due to my card delivery issue. Anyway, long story short, this complaint was picked up by them after that and their supervisor called to apologize. Mana tau, few days before Christmas called and said will give me a surprise gift and asked me to confirm my delivery address. Then, this voucher reached me. Sekian. Nice! At least got something from UOB |

QUOTE(CP88 @ Jan 4 2016, 10:22 PM) Haha I don't remember her going to office personally. I remember Fruitie was calling up and complaining to them a lot though. So no banging of tables and chairs to get that QUOTE(guy3288 @ Jan 4 2016, 11:01 PM) Wah u guys just reminded me about my VI card AF RM1200 due on 1.1.2016! Good for you! I think they are more flexible to waive AF these days compared to last time. I cancelled quite a number of UOB cards also in the past cause they simply give me cards and I hardly make use of them. And like you said, the AF for VI is >1k. It came together with the lady card with bling bling also, that one also dunno how much the AF lol.i dont use the card anyway, if kena AF, still can cancel card and no need to pay AF. September last year i called CS enquired about the AF for my UOB 1 card and UOB VI as i was going to take their BT offer. I requested for AF waiver. i knew once i accepted their BT, i will be stuck with the card for a year. CS then told me i will get 3 year AF waiver for the UOB 1 card, as for my UOB VI card she said AF due only in Jan 2016 and i can ask for waiver, if not i can cancel it off. I called CS just now,one Nishah confirmed that my UOB 1 card AF will be charged only in 2018 (3 year waiver on as promised), and the good news is there is no indication that the RM1200 AF for VI card will be charged, is due on 1.1.2016. She said the RM1200 AF will be charged in 2017. PS: I hardly swiped my UOB cards, less than 5x/year. |
