Basically UOB cc not so user friendly. AF might not be able to waive, partially waive etc. I cancelled my uob one platinum early this year. Going to cancel UOB preferred platinum soon (which is my main cc). And I am thinking whether should I get Vox card ( if fruitie confirm can get cash rebate for unifi). Or else, I shall say bye bye to uob.
*
Yea, if this year no waiver for my One card, I think I'm gonna cancel it also.

QUOTE(chiahau @ Sep 17 2015, 10:45 AM)
Gave up with UOB already.

Prefer to go for cards like MBB Signatures which states clearly how much need to spend for waiver.

No need to beg, no need headache.

And till today, my application is pending due to the fact I refused to send them a letter bearing my office letterhead. Pfft.
*
Why they need office letterhead? Which card needs it and for what?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 17 2015, 10:51 AM)
Yeah, I know about this. laugh.gif
I will split if it really rejects mine. Let's see. laugh.gif
2 years AF waiver, sounds good to me for now. laugh.gif
Yeah but if first 2 years are waived, still OK. I think I can apply other cards later on in the future, 2 years is long. tongue.gif
*
Yea, usually new cards I just accept also. Then cancel it before they charge me AF. tongue.gif

Totally in love with the UOB Lady's card! Ladies, if you have a True Fitness near you, don't forget to FULLY UTILISE the free access to the gyms and classes. I'm enjoying the yoga classes, treadmills, steam rooms and saunas for FREE!

Haha...but other than that, and groceries, nothing much to shout about.
*
Was offered the Lady's card last year also. Didn't ask for it but they send it to me. Never use it after my initial 3 swipes to waive AF. Didn't find it useful lol.
Cancelled the card mid of this year after slightly more than half a year having it but never using it. sweat.gif

I can only see True Fitness and the selected Groceries cash rebate (until end of 31st Dec) are pretty good. biggrin.gif
*
Yea, they also have quite a lot of promos here and there for the Solitaire card. But then got AF and stuffs, hardly use it. So just cancel only. Haha.
Coming Dec is my anniversary for One card, most likely gonna cancel it also. sweat.gif

Ladies and gentlemen, masa yang dinanti-nantikan telah tiba.

rclxms.gif

There is cash rebate for payment via myTM. rclxms.gif

I only made these transactions in August and I received RM 5.00, though I should be receiving RM 5.20? hmm.gif UOB will not give decimal amount? unsure.gif

user posted image

munkeyflo, karcity, Pistacio, kelvinlzy

I can only tag 5 people. Feel free to distribute. laugh.gif
*
Woohoo! Awesome. Now all the TM bills will go to VOX. tongue.gif

Dunno why they didn't rebate RM5.20 instead though. For the UOB One, they definitely do rebate in decimals. My monthly rebates are like RM0.xx lol. So yea, definitely got decimals. laugh.gif
Unless it's different for VOX.

VOX is my backup card unless Sam's is having problem. tongue.gif
Will use my Wise for 10%. biggrin.gif
That's why... But one glance, looks like the rebate is from those transactions? unsure.gif
*
Hm, maybe wait for other existing VOX users to confirm or worse case call up CS. sweat.gif

Wow, looking at how badly they are handling these cash rebates, maybe I should hold back on spending on my VOX for the time being. Gonna apply for CIMB cash back soon.

I think only VOX has this problem. ONE still good.

Yea, my ONE card the rebates so far no issues all these while. Didn't expect VOX to be this bad. Especially it's not a new card somemore.

You should refrain from applying now. Very bad. I still have CIMB CR though but I just spent RM 500+ on Adidas online store via VOX last week. cry.gif
*
I already got my VOX card last month and spent RM1k+ online in September sad.gif
Hopefully the rebates issue will get sorted out by the end of this month.

CIMB CR also got problems with their rebates?

QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Sep 15 2015, 04:42 PM)
Finally got my card in the mail today.  rclxub.gif

20th August - Submitted the application form. Income documents not needed as I'm existing UOB card holder and customer.
21st August - Sales girl called to tell me that they no longer deliver new cards to us and they can only deliver my card to the nearest branch for me to pick up. Ok.
4th Sept - Checked with branch, no news. Called up the sales girl. She say the card was just approved 1 day before and I should get a call from the branch within the next 3-4 working days.
11th Sept - Checked with branch, still no news. Called up the sales girl again. She say I should have received it already as it is stated delivered in their system. She told me to call the CS call centre to check with them if I don't hear anything within the next few days. Immediately I called the CS and told them what happen. CS girl was very nice and say that it is most likely lost in transaction and she will arrange to cancel the card with immediate effect and send me a new card *to my house*.
15th Sept - Received my card via Poslaju super express delivery. Activated and paid my bills online.  thumbup.gif
*
Guess what. Today I receive a call from my home branch telling me my credit card has arrived. doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif
It took almost a month for them to send my credit card to the branch. Crazy.

As if we don't know those things, they didn't do as the TnC.

Yea man! I think it's the initial VOX card which they claimed "lost in transit" really sesat until 1 month later.

I hope I get my rebates end of this month cry.gif

You mean those online transactions have additional 0.3% as well? unsure.gif
Anyway, we just want an answer when will it be posted only... Finally it's cleared today.

Oh ya, below RM 50 per transaction will not get cash rebate. I tested and didn't work. So the TnC is correct.

munkeyflo, I got cash rebate for UniFi paid via TM Portal. biggrin.gif
*
Yayyyy! Thanks for informing me biggrin.gif

The 0.3% is also credited the following month right? If got 5.3% that's good lol.

how about Indah Water?
I follow what you did.

How do you pay your IWK bills via CC online? Cause afaik online hard to pay IWK bills via CC except a few cards (e.g. OCBC).
I know it's not categorize under utilities if pay via HLB Wise for the rebate.

Could you share which card can pay IWK online? I am looking for a cc to pay IWK.
*
I know for sure OCBC can pay using card. Have been using it all these while. Before that, I used MBF (now Ambank) click n pay to pay IWK online as well.

So far have not found any other cards, am looking for other alternatives as well as I wanna cancel my OCBC and I've already cancelled my MBF.

I know for sure that you can use ANY Visa / MasterCard to pay IWK through posonline, but there is a convenience fee of 2%. But don't think Vox will give 5% though as it will displayed as "Posonline KL"
*
Good to know. But yea 2% convenience fee.

I just got my one card classic. Actually the seller asked me to help him reach his quota.
But since i already have it, if can benefit me, then will use lor.
If i pay my Celcom postpaid using this cc, will it be 0.2 or 1/2% cash rebate?
And how actually this cash rebate thing works?
Im noobie here. This is my 1st cc.
Still blur2 and takut2. Lol
*
The cash rebate will be shown on your credit card statement. The amount you will need to pay will be the total amount you charged to the card less off the total rebates given back to you.

QUOTE(deanitro @ Oct 29 2015, 05:55 PM)
Bhpetrol is for us to get cash rebates + Smarts point only right?
If others like shell etc, still can get cash rebates but no smarts point is it?
*
Yes, that is correct. As long as you pump petrol on the weekends.
