Aaargh... ! My car needs anew windscreen. Anyone know if I need togo back to Proton to keep warranty or can just go outside and do? Also, how much?

Is this your car? If it is, sorry about that. Very unlucky indeed. Flying stones usually come more often from large lorries, or sports cars with wide tyres 235 and above, and when traveling at higher speeds. But looks like this time it's coming from a Myvi.

I think we're referring to the same thing. I just make sure I don't rest my arm on the panel when winding up the window lest my bulu tangan would get caught. 

Just got quoted price from Proton.
RM1,500 for the windscreen and the electronic sensor. Not sure if including labour. I think it is.

suddenly a youngster on a kapcai just pass through me almost hit my left fender.
he didnt signal, he was zig-zagging(mencelah) on the highway..

Speaking about service centres. I can't get hold of the Mutiara Damansara service centre. No one seems to be picking up.
Any other recommended service centre for my under-warranty Preve anyone can recommend? I thought of going back to mutiara damansara then I can chill in Curve while they are working on the car.

I think my absorbers are too harsh (or maybe broken).
Could someome recommend brand and model for softer family/baby friendly absorbers+springs?

mine compressor relay failed after 4.5 years, have to change the whole fuse box for version 2014 CFE.
Due to it is directly soldered at the circuit board.
I changed the whole fuse box at SC Jan 2019, around 550++.

If not mistaken, for version 2015 onwards, they have made it removable with socket.

You should return to the SC and ask them why?

That's why my 4½ years old PREVE Turbo, I don't even want to ask them about the CVT Damper recall because I know the SC will also replace the engine mounts at the same time, which I'll have to pay since my vehicle is over 3 years old and is no longer covered by warranty for the engine mounts.  Anyway, as my mileage is now only 19,168 km, there's not much wear and tear despite its age.

You need to change left and right engine mount. Thats what happen to me is SC changed left only and whole jerking. After change mounting , drove beautifully and smooth acceleration.

That's why some of those mechanics and technicians in the PROTON SC are very unreliable and is giving them a very bad reputation. 

Rightfully, they should have test-driven the car before handing it back to you.  If they had done so, this vibration problem would have been obvious and they should have taken the next remedial action to correct this problem.  But instead, they had either turned a blind eye to it or probably didn't even test drive the car after the CVT Damper replacement job.
