eboue + toure + senderos + flamini = new boy old school conceded 13 goals in 38 league games. new boy kept 10 consecutive clean sheet in Champions League ( including 2 games against Real & 2 games against Juventus ) |

why suddenly name the whole back four? isn't this thread talking about 'pairs'?
first that comes to mind is definitely andy cole-dwight yorke.. rebrov-shevchenko in kiev was good too. and scholes-keano..the best midfield combo ever |

The one I remember quite clearly was Fowler - Collymore. Lethal strike force combination. Then of course Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole. |
