QUOTE(xenon koh @ Apr 6 2007, 02:27 PM) yea.quite true.but sometimes after put the disc brake will be more dangerous.cos its not the original 1,when u brake hard tat time the disc brake might be locked and the whole bike will go terbalik. i agree with that oso la.....but it oso can lead to "wheekang" ..hahaha..quite dangerous oso...but some ppl jz put disc brake is for showcase purposes like bigger discs... |

QUOTE(cheenjeat008 @ Jun 1 2007, 10:29 AM) eh, i also face the same situation when i using my dad EX5 with kayaba suspension wo...but is very light ngeekk after few month. but, my rear suspension is the original stock suspension...plannning to change to gas type one...is it worth it or not?The stock suspension can not support the weight of my dad and i. So, after changing to kayaba, to be honest, quality is quite good, not more swing feeling on the cornering compare to stock suspension. For your case, in my opinion. if you are feeling very hard krroook sound, please check your suspension spring condition, maybe it is too soft or not hard enough to handle the weight of your bike and you. QUOTE(wevilli @ Jun 1 2007, 11:32 AM) please check your swing arm... see wheather is it lubricate... sometimes over the years... it can be rusted.... ... normally ... 80% is your absorber problem... .just change . if you change .. dont buy cheap one (china) . either buy original back or third party absorbers that are good. but, my bike jz 1yr old ++.....how bout those gas type suspension which have another small can tin that sticks together with the absorber? is it worth it or not?Added on June 1, 2007, 11:34 am you cant do much about the weight.. unless your bike is tuned to race. what i mean that tuned for race is all thing are taken out like double stan.. lights. some other metal things. so .. just leave your bike like it is... it is design to be like that ! |
