15watter not enough for a hall that size.... The people at the back can't hear it at all.

You'll need at LEAST a 50watter....... seriously.

Not sure about the VoxAD50Vt..... anyone can help him out??

usually the drum sound will overshine the guitar sound.... that's why you'll need higher watt amps for gigging

this is why they invented PA systems, just mic / line-out your amp to it.
so basically a 30w is sufficient.

also with how far the amp modelling technology has come, some ppl including pros dont even use an amp for small gigs now.
they just bring along something like a tonelab SE and plug it direct into the PA.

If a loud amp that is small that you are looking, try Washburn Bad Dog (12W or 25W). From what I hear, both have the reputation being quite loud.

Loud ... YES
Clean ... YES
Features & effects... NO

For features and effects, I doubt any other amp can surpass Vox (for small amp).

Yes you can hook up a Microcube to PA using the REC OUT (it doesn't have a Line Out) jack, however I tried doing it once and it sounded quite bad (very cardboard-ey) but it could be probably coz I didn't know what I was doing.

You're better off miking it up as suggested by Everdying. smile.gif

the Rec Out jack is supposed to be very low output, which for you to connect to your pc for recording or for listening with headphones.... that might explain why direct line-out to PA will sound bad.

Mic+PA would give much better result I believe.
