How do we differentiate between authentic and fake/clone sony VCT5 without testing.
Any indication on the wrap/insulator?

If it was really genuine yes its better than VTC4.

Some german did test on latest batch of genuine VTC5 and found it perform slightly better than the previous VTC5. I think it was done by obtronics? But yeah they published the graph test. Even illumn has tested latest batch of VTC5 and marked it as genuine
And yes from FT, no one there claimed it was clone so i truly hope its authentic. Also FT would never sell clone as authentic knowingly. Unless they got screwed by their supplier, but then you would see complains and refunds on their forum if it did.

How do i avoid burning my nickel too fast?

My build is a 28g nic200 10 wraps..im getting about 0.18ohm.

Now vaping at 18J 375F. If i go beyond 400F the flavour would be to my liking but it burns my coil too fast.

Appreciate sifu's advice.

I am on 0.14 running on 19J, 220C.. Seems to be the sweet spot for me but I can c my coil abit burned dy but cotton still gud condition..

Guess more usage = more frequent recoil smile.gif

what tank?

ni200 is crappy coil compared to kanthal. Just for the sake of temp control.
