QUOTE(pj_guitarist @ Jul 15 2015, 10:39 AM) Mine changes from time to time.. Guitars - Deimel ![]() ![]() ![]() I love it's slightly quirky yet traditional shapes, with many tones not associated with the design. Plenty of color choices as well. Not a lot of demo or reviews in the net though. Amps and Pedals.. another post later This post has been edited by quarantined: Jul 15 2015, 02:12 PM |

pfft...boutique is just a term used for companies with no money.
fender was 'boutique' back in the 50s, PRS was 'boutique' in the 80s... dunno which of these guitar companies start out by having the aim to be the best boutique manufacturer there is...sure all want to grow big and conquer the world...like suhr now |

Also there are so many small luthiers now, perhaps you'll see something new here that you'll like? Didn't know b3 has a strat?? I kind of like their Phoenix guitar. |

I kind of like their Phoenix guitar. but a guitar is just a neck joined to a body. how much nicer can a neck get? how much more comfortable can a body get? theres only so much innovation that a carpenter can do. while the real innovations ppl just throw aside...like robot tuners |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jul 15 2015, 10:49 PM) and then there are some local carpenters who think they're world's best theres quite a lot of stuff in the boutique market that does improve the guitar significantly, but a guitar is just a neck joined to a body. how much nicer can a neck get? how much more comfortable can a body get? theres only so much innovation that a carpenter can do. while the real innovations ppl just throw aside...like robot tuners the reason people bash robot tuners is that its relatively short life, difficult to use and can be unreliable. QUOTE(quarantined @ Jul 16 2015, 09:55 AM) A matter of preference.. we all know most guitarist are hopelessly traditionalist. actually i kinda disagree, guitars have probably the most innovation in all music instruments that works on a non-digital format. the problem is a lot of companies have gimmicky innovations, things that dont really contribute to any change. And there are those who want something different, which the big companies wouldn't do. but yea i agree that boutiques satisfy what big companies wont do without a large fee |
