In the old days, I know what IBM used to sell. Nowadays, I'm not so sure anymore because the old stuff are gone and the new stuff - their competitors also doing it.

Their stock price is at the 3 year low.. it may take your timing of 5 years to get back to the highs 2013 (200 level)

Took out too early yesterday.

Crude is quite volatile for this week. Made 10+% move within a week down to low 40s and back to mid 45'ish again.
Congrats to those who manage to capture this move.

UWTI looks like it wants to go higher and test that 50ma line at 10.85.
Am I looking at potential ikan bilis turning into grouper?

Also, no options play for DWTI or UWTI.
This one difficult to make money if cannot go either direction.

Ya loh.. since tuesday evening whacked down.. wed up, thur up, friday up.
Next week, please make it go down one more time before break out so I can catch some more ikan bilis.

Yeah.. both XOM and CVX too. Remember, they also guided this down already. The earnings are way down from last year. They have to cut a lot of expenses out. CVX going to lay off a lot of people.

If crude comes back again, their earnings will go back up, then we'll see the oil companies will flourish again.
I don't expect to see Oil @ $100 anytime soon but if oil goes back to $70 (which should be norm) next year, there's a still a lot of upside for XLE from here. Good to keep some longs and sell them cover calls (or short puts) to make money every week.

Unbelievable... more groupers tonight despite bad China data.

I think it wants to re-test the highs of July. The bulls are not afraid at all.

Looks like the bears have gone for holidays early this year. Not one single baby bear to come out to play...
