The ones with problems are the lithium ion/metal batteries. They are known to explode when roughly handled. Other batteries like dry cell/alkalines/NiCad/NiMH are allowed. |

Usually they will just ask if there are any batteries in your check in luggage. Most don't allow any batteries in check in luggage. https://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/headqu...d_batteries.pdf |

Well, for some airports. They will ask u to wait until the checked in baggage being scanned through first before you go into the immigration counters. Example Taiwan Airport. So, if they detect any suspicious batteries or burner or whatever la, they will call you. U need to open up the baggage and show them.QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Jun 23 2016, 09:12 AM) Usually they will just ask if there are any batteries in your check in luggage. Those that are already put into torches, attached with whatever equipment. Generally just leave it check in until u r being call to open. If no, leave it lo |

QUOTE(DrBarbarian @ Jun 23 2016, 09:19 AM) Yea last time they never really asked. But these days I notice most of them ask already. Airasia ones so far not so consistent in asking though.
