The ones from Sony with Neodyium magnet is not bad, very good bass, price is from $100 onwards. It rocks, head over to http://www.sony.com.my to view them.

i juz bought Sennheiser earphones .. those r exp in canal earphone..
the thing is DS can't produce sound quality equivalent to let say psp.. or ipod.. or any mp3 player.. so i guess if ur planning for only DS use.. don't need too exp.. bidfordun, although i am no expert.. but cheap n good earphone does has a lots of different.. if u have difficult time to differentiate.. play side by side lo.. or play same songs.. |

Well, Cheap one you can either have those that doesnt sound as nice. The quality is just wrong. While nice one have good bass and good treble. Their sound are perfect.
Currently i am using my old earphone from my Ipod. Coz my ipod is using the inear earphone. I like in-ear earphone. Very nice |

Well.. Bass is the lower tone. The music you hear at clubs and all those cars that sound as if some one is blowin up the city. Those are bass.
Treble in the other hand is the other side of bass so to speak. high tones, sharp sound. More widely used in singing ( i think, not so sure) |

The above item isn't fully stereo because it's just one sided. Also, it's more of a headset for VOIP.
IMO, there is no "best earphone for DS lite".. Only good earphones. Of course, the higher the price, better the quality, I've tried using my brothers RM500++ headphones (for classical music) and yeah, it sounds good. But as for me, I'm using Nintendo's Electoruplanktun(JP) which comes with a sound distortion thingamajid. Which increases clarity in sound and buffers out the bad ones, but the volume 'gain' is not that strong. I also use it for my MP3 player. Short wires tho.. |

![]() 1. This is the official Nintendo DS accessory which the one sided earphone with mic. Well the sound quality is good but the bad thing is is the attaching seems a little loss. The volume is quite loud for me but some people think it is still low. And I think this accessory is good coz u still can talk to someone while playing ur game listening to the earphone. One more thing this mic is not suitable for blowing, only for shouting and talking becoz the mic is not directly onto ur mouth. btw the price for this accessory is RM50 2. This is a sony stereo headphones. the model number is MDR-Q21LP. Well i would say this headphone is powerful in treble but not so strong in bass. As when i play ouendan, the music play perfectly in my mind. I cant say say the headphone and mic i have now is the best but i satisfied me alot p/s buy wad ur headphone color is accordingly to your ds / dsl! it will looks more nicer! Hi. i was thinking of gettign a pair of v-moda m-class for my ds cause i use it a lot for music. But now that you say this...i am not so sure. My initial perception is that since both ipod and ds takes its source from mp3 which is a digital source, shouldn't it be the same? the thing is DS can't produce sound quality equivalent to let say psp.. or ipod.. or any mp3 player.. so i guess if ur planning for only DS use.. don't need too exp.. bidfordun, although i am no expert.. but cheap n good earphone does has a lots of different.. if u have difficult time to differentiate.. play side by side lo.. or play same songs.. btw i am now using a RM19 sony which is dead one side cause it dipped into my coffee haahah |

DS sound quality is really not that good... however, a good pair of earphones will make it more bearable...
My PX100s work well with the DS although I usually use my Sony headphones instead coz I lazy to unplug my sennheisers from my ipod and then plug into PSP, then plug into DS... they provide better bass than the SOnys though. get a decent MX500 sennheiser, should sound fine This post has been edited by Gilthoniel: Nov 13 2006, 05:42 PM |

ok. Now here's a question
Do you think that the inferior sound quality is because of moonshell or because of the ds hardware?? If its moonshell at least there is hope for them to upgrade. but if it because of the ds hardware...then...pretty much nothing we can do and i have to get myslf and mp3 player what you guys think? |

Never flashed ndsl so no comment about moonshell
But I'll say if you use earphone on nds, the outcome is actually pretty good. I use nintendo headset to play ouendan and eba on lrt. |
