Having been to Johnny Rockets, Bubba Gump Shrimp n other Halal or pork free Western restaurants I kinda lost hope in ever finding good food in these kind of establishments. The food is mediocre at best best and when the bill comes u start questioning the decision to spend RM50 on an average tasting meal.

imma sorry to say this but im starting judge a western restaurant by the majority ethnicity of the patrons. as much as i dun like doing it, this method seems to work.

Any suggestions for good Halal/pork free western restaurants ?

friend's bday coming up n we don't want to end up at TGIF or Chillis ever again.

you call them western restaurants i call them fast food restaurants.

try Cozy House if you want a taste of traditional Malaysian Western Restaurant, or Victoria station. NY Steak Shack also not bad when comes to price point vs taste.

It depends on what kind of food you're planning to eat. Steak? Pasta?

i would put Italian in its own category.

La Risata is good,

probably tex mex TGIF/Chillis type of food. no italian.

prices around Chillis/TGIF too if possible

western food or western restaurant?
manate is melei restaurant with western food

Chillis tastes alright, but the prices seem expensive for what it is.

Only been to Tony Roma's and TGIF less than a handful of times. Chillis seem to be more attractive somehow.

Not sure how to compare others though. These 3 seem like western/southern diner chains.

when i think of those places, dry tasteless grilled chicken fillets will come to mind.
