QUOTE(orangbulu @ Jun 23 2016, 10:37 AM) My Gigabyte GTX 1070 arrived yesterday night. Super huge boost coming from a HD 6950. Now considering whether to upgrade to a 144HZ Gsync monitor That one GTX 980 Ti level la. HD 6950 is so ancient. Even if you upgraded to the HD 7970 (which is the R9 280X) also you'll see some performance boost already, and that also the R9 280X is around the GTX 960 only.

Gonna be unboxing the Gigabyte GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming tonight. The box looks great, can't wait to see what's inside.

QUOTE(kianweic @ Jun 23 2016, 07:25 PM) Looking forward to your review.
Also, please comment on the temperature and the acoustics. Did the temperature test during live session. Amazing stuff, it was under 70c on Furmark load, adjusting the fan RPM % accordingly. The card didn't touch 70c while RPM hovers at 55% at most which is around 1700 RPM through the course of 20 minutes from start till end.

QUOTE(kianweic @ Jun 24 2016, 07:24 AM) Is it audible after 70% fan speed? If the casing is not closed and is about arm length away from you, yes it is. Not too unpleasant but it's audible.
