thats why i said depends on your wheel size.

last time i was on 205/55/16 changed to 215/45/17... the reading off by 1%.

1% is quite small difference.
Thinking of changing back to stock 15" rims and tires.
Wanna see the difference.

Heavier rim affect torque output hence consume more petrol
Suspect la... we see how.

Just returned from my 5k service, Toyota is offering 5 years warranty for new cars and an option to purchase extended 2 years warranty for existing car within 3 yrs/100k km at time of extended warranty purchase with 1 time free maxcheck advance service. This is valid from 1 Apr to 30 Sept only.

For vios, it is RM1590 to add the 2 years extended warranty. You guys still have time to think if it is worthy to buy it.

Hi guys, for those of you who are interested to know the price of the 2 year warranty extension currently offered by Toyota. Here's the brochure I got from the sc this morning while servicing my car. What do you think? (I think it's a bit high no?)

Does using this type of high emitting light bulb drain the battery faster?

So far so good after almost 1 year. It's still consuming the same 55W with original H4 anyway.

not entirely true that bigger rims are heavier.

my stock Ford Focus TDCi 16' rims are heavier than a Vossen CV5 17' rims.

it really depends on which type of rims you buy.

16' tyres cost is definitely higher than 15's.

a PS3 205/55/16 cost RM380-420 per pcs, whereas a cheaper alternative like Kumho Ecsta7 cost around RM250-280 per pcs.

On the extreme part, my friend installed Advan AD08R RM880 per pcs on his TDCi. sweat.gif

again, depends on what brand and model of tyre you want.

regarding the ngong ngong sound, I check with 2 mechanic. Both say the same thing which the bearing is in normal condition. The sound produced is from the tyre itself.

Try swap rear tyre to front.

Great!. Do you have any idea about the reliability, performance, cost of maintenance, issues on TDCi MK2.5?
*
Damn reliable. Common problem is the intercooler hose. Maintenance is pricier as the parts are rather costly.

So far no major issue.

So far I'm quite satisfied with the output.

It's slightly whiter & brighter compared to original bulb and at the same time it won't cause any glare issue like HID.

However, the light output still considered little yellowish, if you are looking for those 4300K++ white bulb type, then this might not the correct choice for you.

I get it for RM130 at accessories shop. However, if purchase from trustable online store, possible to get with price < RM100.
