Hi need you guys advice. My friend had lost the brake oil cap due to which foreman had curi the cap. Because once he checked only found it was cover with plastic sheet.
May I know where can find this cap? I check 2 spare parts dun sell but they do sell the master pump with the cap cover.

Just returned from my 5k service, Toyota is offering 5 years warranty for new cars and an option to purchase extended 2 years warranty for existing car within 3 yrs/100k km at time of extended warranty purchase with 1 time free maxcheck advance service. This is valid from 1 Apr to 30 Sept only.

For vios, it is RM1590 to add the 2 years extended warranty. You guys still have time to think if it is worthy to buy it.

They will also providing a MAX CHECK ADVANCE service worth up to RM369. But that one not include those bigger service (40k, 80k mileage etc) as that considered as MAX CHECK ADVANCE PLUS.

I'm thinking it's kinda grey area, somehow feel the RM1590 - RM369 = RM1220 still OK for extend 2 years but at the same time also feel a bit pricy.

I think it's worth the price. (1590/24 months) about RM 67 per month.

Actually I plan to service my car at Toyota SC for 5 years or more.

that is for car that register before 1apr 2016 ,
for all new car that register after 1apr , is automatically entitle for 5yr warranty unlimited mileage

To me I won't go for extended warranty. What is warranty? Wear and tear is not covered. The spare parts are pricy. The Labour is pricy.
They extended the warranty so that you have to go back to SC for your routine oil change and etc.

alternator when running 14v is it normal for vios?
when engine off voltage =12.7v is it normal?

what is the optimum voltage for a vios alternator when running? 14v or 14.5v ?

this is just like windscreen insurance , you no need it if no problem.
but if the car have problem after 3yr warranty finish , you will feel the important of the coverage .

Just back from Toyota showroom for car services. They have a new offer to extend another 2 years warranty on top of given 3 years warranty for RM1590

Not sure it's a good or bad things. But Rm1590= for 2 years, that's too much
