Will be much better responding / more mileage if you are using RON97..

Thx for your clarification. Meaning normal D mode is 7 speed gear.
Coz few years back, i drive my friend's camry 2.4. I need to switch semi auto for higher gear ratio.
*
I see.. that's why switching to semi auto while overtaking car give your car more "ooomph" to go.. haha..
Personally I like the semi auto mode much.

Mine was from the passenger side, not sure its door panel or the pillar, it started to make noise when I start driving. After drive for some time, then the noise like disappear already. hmm..
Just got the car around 1 week plus only.. Hmm..

Mine still persists it's like some spring similar to something like spring can listen very clearly also when I enter my car and close the door with normal force

Been driving it for a week, I tried manual mode, push all the way to 7th gear and note the RPM on that speed, then I switched back to D mode, which surprisingly that the RPM are lower than when you are in 7th speed semi auto.
Driving using normal D mode emphasize more on fuel efficiency (ECO mode lights on) while semi auto mode give you more dynamic feel (ECO mode lights off). Overtaking car using semi auto mode is easy and responsive.

Yeap. It is virtual simulated by computer, however I not sure if the gear ratio(virtual) is manipulated by speed or it is fixed to the speed.
Because when I cruising at 80km/h, using semi auto 7th gear give me 1.6k rpm reading, and after I switched back to D mode, it dropped to 1.2k rpm.

Basically, below are the functions for multi display (DVD-AVX)
1. DVD player
2. Panoramic view display (E spec above)
3. USB.
4. FM/AM
5. AUX input
6. Voice command (command such as play next song, etc)
7. Bluetooth audio

Personally I think if you are not so keen into the panoramic view and reverse camera, then get the J spec is enough.
Now the price is RM 4K difference between J and E spec.

4K price difference, you get
1. Panoramic view with reverse camera.
2. MultiDisplay (touch screen)
3. Front fog light
4. Retractable side mirror (w/ signal indicator)
5. Rear arm rest with cup holders.
6. 60:40 split rear seat.

Not radio. There is 1 at meter there. Can see how many km left for remaining petrol. They said j spec and e spec also dont have. Is it true?

Yes. That one called MID (Multi Info Display), which show you remaining distance you can travel with current petrol, average fuel consumption etc.

But I personally don't find it really useful all the time.

1. You won't got that free time to keep on monitoring all these after awhile.
2. Remaining distance is just rough calculation from ECU, don't drive until 0km left only pump petrol, you can just refer to the fuel tank indicator.
3. Average fuel consumption, J & E spec can just use the trip A to calculate a rough fuel consumption based on how much petrol you pumped, how long the distance travelled.

Depends on your budget. Of course by going for higher spec will gain you some other feature such as 360 camera, retractable mirrors, fog lamps, disc brakes, projector headlight etc..

But if you find these features doesn't that important per your usage, MID is almost nothing to you already, it just a small pieces of information display. rclxm9.gif

I know. that's why I'm mentioning higher spec instead of specific E, G...the differences between each spec, the SA should already explained to him and he can decide which one suit him the most biggrin.gif

It's about safety , the higher spec seems to offer rear disc brakes

Now , I know the J spec comes with VSC , which is good. As long as you keep within speed limit or drive at an average speed , the drum brakes should be okay

It is really up to personal budget and needs. I opt for E spec due to it's 60:40 split rear seat and fitted with bit of tech features such as 360 camera, front fog light, retractable side mirror, rear seat arm rest with cup holder.

Just ask SA explain the differences for each spec and you can make up your mind from there.
