I advice you to stay at the Strawberry Park. It's now managed under a new management after the takeover a few years ago. It has been renovated and I heard it is now one of the best places to stay in at CH, if not the best. thumbup.gif

lol.....That is Strawberry Park. After the takeover, they had given it a new name. Some sort of re-branding I think.

The view pretty nice and its very breezy usually. flex.gif thumbup.gif

And don't forget to go to Gunung Brinchang! It is so cold up there and the mist is so thick that you feel like you are in a cloud!~ Believe me! You won't regret it. cool.gif

O Really? tongue.gif I know it is the hotel near the golf course. I also know it was just recently been taken over by a new management. But I didn't know what it is called before that. Since a lot of people talked about Strawberry Park, I assume that is the one they are talking about. lol....

But still, you can trust me on everything else. I used to stay for nearly 2 months there. My dad was posted there.

Nolah... This one was previously the Merlin... The hotel looks pretty much the same as before but has been upgraded by YTL into a 5-star in the mould of the Pangkor Laut Resort...

The Strawberry is still under the same name actually...

I think its something like a Datai or Four Seasons (the two best resorts in Langkawi) in the Highlands ya? Equally luxurious and with the prices to match but instead of the sea, u get clouds in your face!

I just reserved a Superior Room at the Equatorial for 2D1N... Not too bad rates, even after the RM20 school holiday surcharge... After tax amount came up to RM239.20 together with a RM88 F&B voucher...

a very big gap between rosa and both the strawberry park and eq
mayb rosa will be a better choice here
cos if going to pasar malam
parking is a headache..
rosa is walking distance to pasar malam so no need to worry bout parking
and also it's situated in the town center

strawberry park and eq are both surround by forest and have good environment and atmoshphere
strawberry park is in the middle of forest
eq will have a good view of the kea farm

this is my knowledge about this 3 choices and final choice is up to u whether u wan to stay in town center or relax in the middle of plantations/forest
