gt8 for 1650 should be quite reasonable. got mine for 1600 when it first came in. that time also had promo so had a free gig bag for my gt8 (but the bag isnt as good as line6 gig bags for podxt live)
edit:wow, never knew they had that coffin case. wonder how much is the cost and is it safe to bring in the plane with that. if i could get it i could bring 3 of my darling guitars back and forth kl easily!!! This post has been edited by echobrainproject: Dec 30 2006, 11:24 PM |

That isn't a case..... more like a gigging storage unit... you see it all the time backstage at concert when they transport their precious guitars. Heavy as hell though..... I don't think you'd be willing to pay the overweight charges!!!!

That's why most bands in America travel by Bus instead......
I'm tempted to make my own pedal board, but the damn problem is that I keep adding more pedals! Pedals on the list to buy (in order of importance): Digitech Whammy Jim Dunlop Rotovibe MXR EVH Phase-90 MXR Chorus |

i need help
im really contemplating a SG shaped acoustic guitar... done exactly like the gibsons, with body/neck joint at the 22nd fret...bolt-on like the taylors... of cos the fretboard will still have to extend into the body, so it will make it like a 30 fret guitar |

30 Fret Acoustic??? You must be mad!!!!
But yeah, that would be cool. I would make a V, Explorer or Randy Rhodes Sharkfin V acoustic.... you don't see THAT very often..... |

its not that i want 30 frets, its just that by design principles for acoustics...
with me wanting a 22nd fret body/neck joint, and the fretboard having to extend to the soundhole for stability...that it will by default be around 30 frets... the other option of cos is to make it semi-solid with a center block, then it wouldnt be acoustic anymore. btw, saddam was hanged today. a new war has begun... I think the next guitar on the my list of guitars to own would be a semi-hollow body guitar..... something like the Gibson nighthawk.....
But REALLY interested in the Mark Morton signature.... based on the Swee-tone chambered guitar.... it has a tap-coil for both S.D. humbuckers..... with individual controls for each humbucker...... Apparently M.M. plays alot of country outside of Lamb of God and wants a guitar that was good for country as well as metal.... sounds killer!!! |

the nighthawks are fully solid...i think you meant the blueshawks...
but both of them have fender like 25.5" scale lengths, so expect similar sounds. |

Whooops. Yeah. I meant the blueshawk.... it's one of the hawks anyway!!!!!
Also quite impressed with their new HD 6X Pro digital guitar..... combining the best of a traditional Les Paul, with a digital pickup and recording options. Sigh...... if I could dream to have a signature guitar.... I would get the HD6X, Swap in EMG 81/85, black sandblasted hardware, and a computer coding (think Matrix) custom paintjob with black background on green text. Call that one Cypher 0, and then have another one with Duncan Jazz and Jb pickups, with a green on black paintjob instead..... call that one Cypher 1..... |
