NO! Don't connect using headphone!
If your amp doesn't have a balanced line-out (or simulated Line-Out)..... don't EVER use anything else!

And as for the sweet child tone..... common..... I just played with the settings for less then 30 minutes. I'll try to use Amplitube 2 and see if I can get a better tone. I tried to emulate Slash's overdrive in the intro, but obviously THAT failed. I then took that model, turn up the gain abit more and slapped in an Overdrive pedal (this is all done using gearbox software). Wanted the solo to be much more crunchier then the original song.

And yes... like I said..... I added in the Pinch Harmonics in the last part.... just to give it a little Zakk flavor!

As for the SG price? Use the search function of our forum or just contact EverDying..... he is our resident SG expert here!

I'm Sorry sweet Tooth.... Maybe Next Gathering. Since we have so much more people, I still want to rent out a hall, and every body brings their own amps and a drum kit.
But yeah, I just did it in one take, which is why i didn't Bother adjusting the tone alot. Will work on the ''deadness"

I suggest using modeling software like Amplitube 2 or Guitar Rig 2 where it uses a built in EQ.

Oh yeah man..... Will definitely have to crank out alot of pedals for that one!!!

But blackangel.... did you ENABLE your Line-In?
Some cards will require you to check (or sometimes uncheck) the line-in box.
And is the volume on?
Check all these things.......

No pricing available.
But I'm sure if you asked nicely, you can get a price.... or call them up so they can prepare for one!

Wow.... so much to talk..... dunno where to start.....

Sweet Tooth..... perhaps you should get something like the Boss DB-90 where it uses a human voice to indicate the beats...... http://proaudiomusic.com/misc/effects/boss...8_metronome.htm

Chenster..... an average priced string like D'addarios would set you back around Rm19 at Guitar Collection in MidValley. That's just an average price. And don't skimp on strings man....... many people think cheap strings would do, but it DOES affect your tone alot.

BlackAngel..... another seemingly obvious question, but over looked by many..... Did you turn UP the volume on your guitar and speakers? There was once this guy coming in here and asking why his distortion doesn't sound well at all.... we gave him so much advice about settings, amp values, checking the wires...... turns out.... he didn't turn up the volume on his guitar because "scared too loud" doh.gif doh.gif

I used Ernies..... but I find them snapping REALLY easily.
Now switched to GHS (and soon Dunlop.... hahahaha.... where Zakk goes... I go!) for my Les Pauls and D'addarios for the Jackson.
Will switch to D'addarios for the "Crap-strat" once I get that fixed.

Well, have you experimented long enough to know what kind of tone/sound you want from your guitar?
If it's a solid YES.... then go for a pedal setup that matches your amplifier.
If it's a MAYBE or a NO..... then go get a Multi-FX unit.

If on a budget, I recommend the Zoom 2.1u if you plan to do recording (Because it has a built in USB connection) or if recording is not important to you, get the Korg Tonewarks AX1500g for better tones.

Of course, if you have cash to spend, try out the POD Xt Live (Or their smaller Floor Pod), the Digitech GNX series or the Boss GT-8.
I WOULD highly recommend the Vox ToneLab SE.... but unfortunately, they don't make 'em anymore. They do sound excellent (especially their amp simulators) and have a decent selection of effects.

Yeah.... I think he meant Pinch Harmonics.
Trust me..... it'll take a quick time to learn, but LONG time to perfect.
I think I'm the one using TONS of Pinch Harmonics here...... kind of my Signature thing...... but basically following the footsteps of my Guitar God.

Waaaaaaah..... sucking up to your mod!

.....in the words of Borat.... "I LIKE!"

And about the Gibsons........
I dunno. Looks fake.
The Zakk Wylde White is waaaaaaaay too white.... almost Alpine..
And the Camo design doesn't look right.

EDIT: WHOOPS! Now only I read that they are copies......
But dunno.... If paying RM1800 for a fake LP, I'd rather buy an Epi LP
