JB would sound ok.
the EMG's will sound like crap.

EMGs are dangerous if you don't know how to use 'em properly. The EMG 81/85 especially are a real bastard with gain and if you can't control it, you're going to suffer.

EMG basically takes your original tone and just kicks it into over drive.

Seymour Duncan's like the JB or Jazz pickups would be better suited if you don't want that much gain.

I'm only RM 500 away from owning a CeriaTone JCM800..... only thing that stands in my way..... I'm still looking for a cab!

I measured my room, and I don't think I have space for a Half Stack. I'm thinking of a 2 speaker cab..... can anyone recommend any cab like that and how much it would cost?
The Marshall 1960 cabinet I wanted to pair my CT JCM800 with..... RM3500+ Over budget already....

So? Anyone?

i'm pretty sure ceriatone has had that question thrown at them quite a few times, so best you ask them what their customers have used for matching cabs.

well, students have only few hour classes, so u can have the rest of time doin anything you want. but working, if u have no choice but 8 solid hours sitting at the office, thasts something different.

RM2230 for a JCM800 2204 full package (that means with Tubes).... and an extra RM430 for a Tolex Head Cabinet (*GLEE!*)

He recommended celestions, but there ARE cheap speakers available too. Also, there's a cab for like RM700 with speakers Made in China.

I'll probably get that, and then save up for EV Black Label speakers later on.

Oh man...... my dream of owning a JCM800 is finally coming true!!!!

Get 2, USD 500..... and then when I go back to US to get either a Razorback or Gibson LP..... I have a kick ass amp waiting for me!

just take note that designing a cab is not as simple as creating a compartment and sticking speakers in.
you really have to go try it.
it could sound very dry and lifeless if not done properly.

Anyways, as for the cabs, like I said, will go for the China made speakers and cabs first, then replacing the speakers later. I know it's not easy, but I'm sure some guys at ceriatone or somewhere similar can do it, right?
