What's the best firmware to get for psp now and how much would i have to spend to get a complete working package? Should i get 2gb or go straight for 4 gb?

I wonder is it safe putting the psp in the car since they have a device that can detect the wifi . Worry that they might break into the car to steal my psp thinking it is a laptop..

Ahh, after so long of hardwork in my office, at last i have the time to enjoy some gaming with my PSP this weekend. I went to see a few PSP accesories today at Ikano and the pricing are  ..Was thinking of getting a case in the first place. Besides, to those who are interested, i saw Monster Hunter Freedom 2 there as well...

Guys, something went wrong with my PSP yesterday while i was playing it..

Not a big deal but i would love to know what had happened.

When i transfered some files/games over to my PSP yesterday, my theme was originally set to "ORIGINAL" which at that point, is blue in color. After that, i launched the game.

After playing for while, i exited the game and was shocked to see that my current theme is in purple. I went back to the theme setting and its showing purple when its on ORIGINAL. May i know what might be wrong there as suddenly the blue color became purple?

Datel ripping off homebrew developers Pandora's Battery - Stop the Monster!

It was with great disappointment that we report that DATEL has decided to RIP OFF the work of Team C + D who created Pandora's Battery for all PSP owners for FREE (all the information). Datel has just launched a new range of PSP batteries which do exactly the same as Pandora's Battery and are shifting them for a tidy profit as they have good economies of scales on PSP batteries. Moreover, they have no shame and give absolutely NO CREDIT to the original developers of the software and to see a peripheral maker who manages to squeeze into retail outlets display such unethical business practice is nothing short of disgusting. For such a 'high profile' company to profit off of homebrew hackers work without even so much as a credit is beyond belief, one can only imagine how Dark_Alex, Fanjita (things like this is why he retired from the PSP scene) and the rest of the team will feel. So please join us in putting two fingers up to Datel not only for ripping off the work of hackers but also essentially scamming customers as all the software is FREELY AVAILABLE. Help stamp this out and let it be known that the software is FREE and send out the message that this will not be tolerated.

Many of you who will actually note that it is not the first time Datel has performed such actions. The majority of their 'next generation' products are inspired by the homebrew scene but they take and take and given nothing back. Here is a rundown of a few of Datel's past products relying and essentially exploiting the homebrew development scene -

XSATA (360) - Required the use of the homebrew developed XPLORER 360 software and was eventually packaged in 'officially' only after initial disregard.

MAX Media Player (DS) - A new flash cart for DS which promised media playback on the Nintendo DS as a standard function. Unfortunately it didn't do as promised for quite some time and needed the use of the homebrew Moonshell media player to function.

Games 'N Music (DS) - Where did we see slot 1 all in one DS flash carts already? Secondly this product is 100% reliant on homebrew released software with various Official 'mini sites' promoting a number of homebrew games and applications.

Datel Drive Doctor (Wii) - The cleverly packaged Wii mod chip utilizing the same method that was posted on the internet far in advance of the release of this product - "It's fun! And as the Wii home brew scene grows and prospers, the device will also come in handy for playing freely-downloadable software straight from your console." And a day after its release some 'russian hackers', released a rip of some mod code which maked it compatible with the this product - coincedence? Maybe but the fact they haven't released anything since is typical hit and run tactics...

But there are some improvements made to the new PSP Slim, right? And I heard that there's a PSP Lite also, what the difference between Slim and Lite?

anyone using V3.52 M33-2 consoles experiencing hang during gameplay? I've suffered twice...latest being yesterday. Both times playing racing games - MotoGP & Sega Rally Revo

no, I mean hang...literally. Had to use the power button to reset the console. Off/On.

If the game supports global gaming, can ler... like Test Drive Unlimited. Or you can use Xlink Kai. even tho i have never tested it yet...

I'm not surprised at all.. ahhaha.. funny actually..handhelds are diff from normal consoles.. you don't see many ppl actually selling their fat ps2 to buy a slim ps2.. but it works for handhelds.. I guess it's due to the size and weight cause people carry them around a lot. I'm hoping the price would drop to around 600 by december end. Planning to get it by then. Then can play Ace Combat X and GoW!!!
