QUOTE(raist86 @ Aug 30 2007, 07:44 PM) anyone tried twisted metal head on and ace combat x on psp? 1 word:brilliant.how's the gameplay? What's the best firmware to get for psp now and how much would i have to spend to get a complete working package? Should i get 2gb or go straight for 4 gb? 2 words:just brilliant seriously,though..the multiplayer being adhoc only is the major drawback,IMHO. |

QUOTE(doomx @ Aug 31 2007, 11:47 AM) I wonder is it safe putting the psp in the car since they have a device that can detect the wifi the device only detects active wifi signals given by APs,AFAIK(if it's the same device we're talking about, anyway regardless if the device detects inactive signals as well or not, just play it safe and bring your psp with you.(why do you need to keep it in the car, btw?any reason? |

QUOTE(akachester @ Aug 31 2007, 06:48 PM) Just wondering there bro, how do you rate TDU for PSP? Is it by any chance, better than Burnout Dominator and Ridge Racer? since you were already at ikano, why didnt you go straight to djinn's place? Well, since its portable, why put it in the car in the first place? I would love to bring my PSP everywhere and enjoy it when have the time..LOL.. Ahh, after so long of hardwork in my office, at last i have the time to enjoy some gaming with my PSP this weekend. I went to see a few PSP accesories today at Ikano and the pricing are the shop in ikano(top floor, opposite popular) is the same company as the ones in 1 u(in front of tgv, further away behind tgv) as i've seen their employees come and go between all 3 shops.. they are cutthroats, IMHO... just go to Djinn terus |

QUOTE(akachester @ Aug 31 2007, 07:06 PM) Alamak, forgot bout Djinn shop. Should have gone there and take a look today.. i went a few times to the 1utama branch, bought some games and the discs had some problems...brought it to their shop, they played and it was fine, and they added "our discs all top quality,it's your ps2 lens problem"-i buy my games elsewhere,no problems at all.top quality my assWell, i have been to both shop in 1Utama and Ikano and man, the pricing is QUOTE(doomx @ Aug 31 2007, 07:53 PM) i wearing jeans,my pocket cant fit my psp so i just leave it in the car lo. lol. nothing happen. was quite worried at first IMO,it's best you buy a pouch or something to bring it wherever you go.leaving it in the car is risky. and if you DO have to leave it in the car,put it in the car before heading to your destination. if you hide it when you arrive, and while hiding it someone sees your gadget,(whatever gadget it is) they might go after it |

QUOTE(akachester @ Sep 1 2007, 02:30 PM) Guys, something went wrong with my PSP yesterday while i was playing it.. Not a big deal but i would love to know what had happened. When i transfered some files/games over to my PSP yesterday, my theme was originally set to "ORIGINAL" which at that point, is blue in color. After that, i launched the game. After playing for while, i exited the game and was shocked to see that my current theme is in purple. I went back to the theme setting and its showing purple when its on ORIGINAL. May i know what might be wrong there as suddenly the blue color became purple? the theme changes colour following the month |

MORE RIP OFFs!!!!
this time from DATEL!!!! QUOTE Datel ripping off homebrew developers Pandora's Battery - Stop the Monster! im so grateful i stopped buying their It was with great disappointment that we report that DATEL has decided to RIP OFF the work of Team C + D who created Pandora's Battery for all PSP owners for FREE (all the information). Datel has just launched a new range of PSP batteries which do exactly the same as Pandora's Battery and are shifting them for a tidy profit as they have good economies of scales on PSP batteries. Moreover, they have no shame and give absolutely NO CREDIT to the original developers of the software and to see a peripheral maker who manages to squeeze into retail outlets display such unethical business practice is nothing short of disgusting. For such a 'high profile' company to profit off of homebrew hackers work without even so much as a credit is beyond belief, one can only imagine how Dark_Alex, Fanjita (things like this is why he retired from the PSP scene) and the rest of the team will feel. So please join us in putting two fingers up to Datel not only for ripping off the work of hackers but also essentially scamming customers as all the software is FREELY AVAILABLE. Help stamp this out and let it be known that the software is FREE and send out the message that this will not be tolerated. Many of you who will actually note that it is not the first time Datel has performed such actions. The majority of their 'next generation' products are inspired by the homebrew scene but they take and take and given nothing back. Here is a rundown of a few of Datel's past products relying and essentially exploiting the homebrew development scene - XSATA (360) - Required the use of the homebrew developed XPLORER 360 software and was eventually packaged in 'officially' only after initial disregard. MAX Media Player (DS) - A new flash cart for DS which promised media playback on the Nintendo DS as a standard function. Unfortunately it didn't do as promised for quite some time and needed the use of the homebrew Moonshell media player to function. Games 'N Music (DS) - Where did we see slot 1 all in one DS flash carts already? Secondly this product is 100% reliant on homebrew released software with various Official 'mini sites' promoting a number of homebrew games and applications. Datel Drive Doctor (Wii) - The cleverly packaged Wii mod chip utilizing the same method that was posted on the internet far in advance of the release of this product - "It's fun! And as the Wii home brew scene grows and prospers, the device will also come in handy for playing freely-downloadable software straight from your console." And a day after its release some 'russian hackers', released a rip of some mod code which maked it compatible with the this product - coincedence? Maybe but the fact they haven't released anything since is typical hit and run tactics... shameless assh0les |

QUOTE(BlueHeng @ Sep 16 2007, 10:03 PM) I'm not surprised at all.. ahhaha.. funny actually..handhelds are diff from normal consoles.. you don't see many ppl actually selling their fat ps2 to buy a slim ps2.. but it works for handhelds.. I guess it's due to the size and weight cause people carry them around a lot. I'm hoping the price would drop to around 600 by december end. Planning to get it by then. Then can play Ace Combat X and GoW!!! just want to warn you..do NOT get HeatSeeker by Codemasters. comparing heatseeker and ace combat,is akin to comparing feces and heaven. and no,i am not joking-heatseeker is that bad Ace Combat is a true Ace Heatseeker can burn for all i care |
