i dunno but i'm not overly impressed.. the auto focus cutbacks are abit extreme even if it's 300usd cheaper..

QUOTE(littlegreen @ Feb 12 2007, 12:55 PM) heheh yea... but i still envy those that have auto focus.... d70/d80 can autofocus because got motor inside the cam. between autofocus and manual, none. depends on your skill.but funny D80/D70 i tested plug in this tele lens can auto focus..... why..is it because the body can drive the lens.. 1. one more thing how about the quality of photo which one is better manual and auto focus... {edited...!! got one person ans but i want more ppl to comment.... 2. 200+-.. wanted to buy.. d@rn it no stock..everywhere also no stock.. Added on February 12, 2007, 1:13 pmwhere can i get better price than 200rm |

QUOTE(shiinkuro31 @ Feb 16 2007, 04:03 PM) anyone know Tamron or sigma or others lens dat can be fit into d40? all lenses can, just the question of whether it has autofocus o not and as far as i know not many 3rd party lenses have dedicated motorsi wish nikon can modd d40, adding more focus point instead of 3 only. its a pain in the ass.. QUOTE(littlegreen @ Feb 16 2007, 07:06 PM) erm... i got old one fr my dad tamron 70-300mm can fit into d40 but no auto focus...bear in mind it is darn heavy for the 300mm tele.... hand pain after dozen of shots... the 3 focus depends on the camera..can add more than that mehh i think what ac is trying to say is that getting a beginner to do manual focus is abit hardwhat do u meant the last sentence ... u meant they like auto focus? Added on February 16, 2007, 9:33 amn lets have the owner list of nikon d40 like canon |

QUOTE(Aileron @ Feb 22 2007, 03:16 PM) hi, i just bought a D40 one week ago, quite expensive i bought it at Low Yat.. whats an underwear bag? bags are all about personal preference. u want a sling, backpack, shoulder, waist? budget is also relative. u want a tripod holder? u want to be able to carry all your lenses?it came with an "underwear bag," not very nice..so i wanna ask whether anyone know any shops which sell nice camera bags? not really expensive ones.. a nice start would be http://www.cambags.com comes with pics n user reviews. good luck! |

QUOTE(kenlui @ Mar 1 2007, 01:21 AM) @littlegreen yes it is Full frame (FF) means the size of the sensor is equal to the size of a 35mm negative. Normally DSLR have a crop factor of either 1.3, 1.5 or 1.6 depending on models. But high end models offers FF, for example the canon eos 5D. When on FF, you get what you see, ie your focal length will be exactly as it is. @ifer D40 good buy? Maybe i'll consider getting it? hehe |
