Yup... no need to turn on the screen as all notifications will be channeled to my SmartBand Talk. I can just delete/dismiss these notifications via the watch...Unless there's very important notification(s), then, I will open via H7... very convenient to have smartwatch...
*
Actually missed original android Notifcations on lock scree, that is really good. Even with password/pin setup, the notifications still show on lock screen. But Huawei only showing the number pad....

4) Nubia Z7 Max with Snap801 together with fine tuning of the system (stock) has great idle power consumption. It losts 1% over 6 hours idle. H7 is about 5% which can be improved in the next update(s).

8) With SRP of RM1,399 for 16GB, it is in my opinion a bit over-priced compared to over 1 year old launching price of Nubia Z7 Max (32GB) in 2014.
*
Can't really agree with these 2 points, my H7 didn't lost 5%. If you comparing s801 phone, then the option is a lot more, one plus one, xperia z2 which got superior in battery. Don't forget z7 max is larger phone too.

The price increase may due to our value in currency drop. You may buy lots of SD801 phone around this price.

How is the heat on the phone? Huawei advertise to have better heat management..  hmm.gif
*
I have the latice case on, played NFS: No Limits, didn't feel much temperature after 10 minutes. Like holding another person's hand. If you use bare without casing, maybe will feel warmer, but daily usage didn't have much feeling on heat.

Hate the manual update, therefore stay at B100 for the moment as no major bug found.

Dear gentleman, B120 is OTA now. is it not recommended to download? I like the clear voice receiving now. If it becomes intermittent static n interference, it is a very big let down (T.T)
*
If you happy with it, then just stay since no major improvement reported.

SOT of 7 hours still great, but as you said drop in idling time in B120. Maybe 6.0 doze will help?

sorry, mind to tell why so sure about 6.0 will solve the idling draining battery problem ?
*
Mainly due to the Doze feature, unless Huawei didn't implement it.

The notification wouldnt appear during my lock screen (when the screen display is black) , and i after i selected Whatsapp , the message starts to comes in.

Any idea how to fix it ?
*
Maybe don't force close the apps? Don't use the one button clean apps stuff.

While our Ringgit is weakening, we are lucky to have reasonable price for H7. In the States, it reaches RM2K already....

[attachmentid=5191026]

If this is the case, can become scalpers in US and make lots of profit leehhh....
*
Not sure if this phone will sell well in US, but seems like Huawei doing alright in Europe, perhaps Europe?

1) flick DOWN the apps that you need to lock.
2) once locked, only those un-locked apps will be terminated when you flick up at the wordings above home icon.
*
Actually Google and some study didn't recommend the user to do so. The system will manage by itself, sometimes there is rogue apps, which I normally delete of hibernate if found causing wake lock. I think most people likes flick away, one click close, etc is because OCD..phone with 2GB can handle really well now.

Yea .. Considering the selling price , it is quite decent for that RAM ..
My previous phone is iPhone 5 , and i just changed to H7 last Sunday bought in Lowyat mall .. LOL
*
Bold move, do you think in terms of convenience in UI, Huawei is about the same as apple iOS? Because that's what their design direction is. Such as no app drawer.

guys...G8 vs H7..which 1 shud i go for..iinm mv there got 1 huawei shop rite? can i purchase the phone there?
*
I believe you may view G8 but not Honor in shop, unless the shop is those smaller dealer, then maybe. Both of these, the deciding factor for me is size, both build with metal. For spec...is pros and cons, not much to complain for mid range.

Hi guys, any comments on honor 7 vs G8? ^^
*
5.2 vs 5.5 inch. Snapdragon 616 vs Kirin 935, 3GB ram all. I will go for honor 7 for normal usage, web browse, WhatsApp...if gaming, maybe snap is better.

How do you get do the features of video running at mini screen , while you still viewing facebook behind it ? Leaving you to be able to watch video while viewing facebook ?
*
I believe what he means 10 to 12 apps running is switch by using recent, the apps won't reload and continue in previous state. Those you want is like Samsung or Sony, either dual screen or mini floating apps.I think playstore offer mini floating apps.

Some recommended stay at B100. Since no major bug fix or feature, as long as daily use is stable, then just let it be.

the real beast is coming your way... stay tune brosss!!!
coming from mate 7 and honor 7... be honest i in love with huawei smartphone.
just 1 thing, give me a H pen ( Samsung S Pen so called).
*
Very important release to keep up with the momentum, if they flop on this one (Mate S kinda is given the price point), then Huawei can't maintain the hype it created from Nexus 6p. Wonder why the rush since Nexus 6p just released...Maybe focus more for China market? And they just hired ex-software engineer from Apple. Huawei got a very interesting future because they can focus on both web series (Honor) and retail series (higher end, Huawei). They might created a business model in such harsh competition in the mobile world by providing best of both worlds. See how HTC and Samsung lost track don't know where to focus.
