finally changed 'kasut baru' after more than 3 years...
downgrade the rim and tires size from standard 185/55/16 to 195/55/15 and now the gap looks very obvious  sweat.gif

Is the SSS using this 185/55/16 as well? Mine already 3 years and looking for options to replace the Yokohama ones.

i recommended change to Michelin Pilot Sport 3 or Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE003... very good in dry or wet surface
but the price for 16 inch rim is not that cheap.. if not mistaken RM390/piece... that's why i change to 15 inch rim so i can buy good tires with lower price.. my potenza re003 only cost me RM195/piece instead of nearly RM400/piece sweat.gif

+1. After calculate changing tayar of 16" only against new sport rim and new 15", i go for latter bcos value for money. Cost is similar only.

but what i noticed after changing rim from 185/55/16 to 195/55/15 is actual speed difference... before this when using 185/55/16, difference between speedometer and gps is 4 or 5 km/h.. but now on 195/55/15, the difference is higher around 8 - 10 km/h... that's mean if my speedometer clock at 100km/h, the gps speed shown only 90km/h (not exact speed because hard for me to maintain the speed without auto cruise.. haha)

https://tiresize.com

I had same issue where by smaller tyre might run faster. As per that link, 195 55r15 will run slightly lower in km/h, mayb less than 10 when cruise 110km/h. Not an issue for me bcos rarely i go above that. So with new actual speed lower than previous 16" tyres, im ok for 15" tyre.
