The sss 2013 faceplate same as the regular swift 2012 faceplate right?
*
Yep.

Just make sure that the brackets holding the head unit itself isn't plastic.

Plastic brackets are flimsy and weak.

Hi guys,

Anyone use LED bulb on your ride? Be it signal, reverse or headlamp.

What is proper bulb (Led) size and where can i download manual for such replacement part? My halogen bulb keep burnt from new within 2 months.
*
T10 LEDs.

To preserve the longevity of bulbs, I would highly suggest fitting a voltage stabilizer.

I fitted a Hot Inazma Type MR last year, so far no burnt bulbs to date..

Maybe can add this. My car is NA and everything worked for 6 years except car battery changed twice.

What is price range for this voltage stabilizer?
*
I bought a used one, about RM150.

Bigger capacity ones can reach RM350 or so

bringing this back again. any experienced swift mechanic in PG?

recently i am also hitting sound on uneven road, initially thought it's absorber issue, but my mechanic also said that it's steering rack issue. which i see quite commonly that ppl complained here?
now he said my absorber also leaking but still can drive... so many things to repair which will cost me a bomb. i need a second opinion...  sad.gif
*
For steering rack noise, it's best to get multiple opinions la.

In my case, what appears to be steering rack noises could also arise from a loose brake caliper pin, which can be resolved by replacing the stock pins with these.

If it is the steering rack that is noisy, you could try to fix it at Suzuki JL99 @ Batu Caves. Phone number - 03-64336000.

Edit: Just re-read your reply. Penang 🤔 🤔

Bought one ZC31S 2010 auto recently. everything on stock, no modification. Just Feel steering not so precise when cornering, anything to look out for?
Is it normal that gap between tyre and fender at front narrower then at the rear?
Car looks like kind of sink in front. absorber or spring problem?
*
Considering the age, it'll be advisable to replace all the absorbers and bushes.

Need to factor in shipping fees, AP, and relevant taxes.

In the end the car will cost at least RM100,000+

The maintenance free battery (korea made) in my SSS 2013 just lasted 1 year 7 mths.  The only devices I have installed are front/rear dashcams and an android auto HU.

How long do you guys battery last on avg?
*
From what I noticed, if you got a voltage stabilizer, it can help stretch your battery life a bit longer.

Any absorber recommendation for zc31s. Budget 2k. Looking for 60% comfort 40% handling
*
I don't know what type of absorbers you want, but I did a custom set with maddriver.

Springs I used the stock ones from the ZC31S, while shocks were custom made.

Ride comfort is on the firm side, but can definitely tackle corners well.

Sad to c admin is going, changing to which car? Just saw Yaris, fit and finished quite up to standard. I think is better then jazz, but dono how it drive, no test drive car yet.
*
Yaris should be a nice car to drive.

I sampled the Vios and the handling + comfort is really impressive.

For steering rack issue, you can try your luck at JL99 @ Batu Caves.

I need to set aside some time to send my car there, as my steering rack making noise again.

Apparently its the plunger spring issue.

But YMMV.

Puchong last time i went there, just once, felt dishonest. Supposed to have free umbrella which i dont really care also but they decided to be quiet and keep d freebie. Thats all.

I only went Batu caves which remains as Suzuki sc. Have a check if they took over by Proton. My last visit was long time ago.
*
The Suzuki service centre in Batu Caves is perhaps the last remaining one. I don't think they got taken over by Proton.

hi guys, my swift is 1.5L zc21 2011 with mileage around 160k km.
now i got problem with the absorber,
- seem like bit soft when going thru speed bump. always need to very2 slow to be comfortable.
-  my road near my house quite bad, with lots of uneven road, pothole etc,
- if i fetch passenger at the back with 2-3 people,  the undercarriage hit the speed bump if going lil it fast. need go thru slowly.
- if go thru uneven road, can heard squeak sound, mybe from the absorber too cos last few years, didnt hear it much.
- no problem at all layan corner at karak with 120-140km/h
- straight line at highway, 160-170km/h, still feel ok and quite stable. no boat feel.  laugh.gif

my absorber still original from factory, never change before.
now im looking to change it to new 1 and survey for the replacement. now got 2 types in my mind. showa and kayaba excel g.
which 1 is better ?

based on price i get, kayaba much cheaper around 1.2k include installation.

do i need to replace the absorber bush too ?

any tips@ recommendations for my absorber replacement ?

thanks in advance
*
Replace the shock absorbers la.

I'm using a custom set from maddriver paired with ZC31S springs.

My sss zc31s seems to have this tok tok sound when driving over un even roads and only happens on 20-30km speed. I have already changed:
1) absorber mountings
2) tie rod link
3) lower arm bar
What else is causing the noise?
*
Check your brake caliper pin. Known issue that can possibly cause tok tok noises.

What about steering rack? Does it make noise over above 40km on uneven roads?

Mine does.

Need to set some time to send to JL99 Batu Caves.

They can solve it.
